About this property
La Muette Maximalism, by Veeve
This stunning three-bedroom apartment is a triple threat: effortlessly chic, meticulously designed and decorated, and fearlessly modern in the famously historic 16th arrondissement. Spanning two storeys, immerse yourself in sophistication within, or step out and experience the elegance of the La Muette neighbourhood on your doorstep.
LIVING ROOM
A masterful use of space, this living room is large enough to be partitioned in two – and is. One side comprises an array of lovely soft furnishings, including two sofas and two armchairs, all plentifully surrounded by either art on the walls or windows bringing in floods of sunlight. Separated by two large freestanding shelves stacked with books and baubles, the other side features a desk and some storage, as well as access to the principal bedroom.
KITCHEN & DINING AREA
This room is beautifully botanical: there's imagery of palm fronds, a large, thriving monstera, and the leafy canopy of the trees outside the full-height windows. The greenery plays beautifully with the neutral colours of the kitchen, which employs a simple and clean aesthetic while offering plenty of room and amenities to work with.
BEDROOMS
This principal bedroom utilises its space as cleverly as the living room. Walk in and see the bed sitting at what seems to be the end of the room… until you notice there’s a passage behind it leading to an elegant en-suite bathroom. Climb the stairs and arrive at the home’s first floor, where the second bedroom offers two bunk beds, a desk and shelves full of toys. The third bedroom features a single bed and a décor theme sure to delight animal lovers.
BATHROOMS
Also upstairs, the primary bathroom is clean and bright and features a walk-in shower. The principal bedroom's en-suite bathroom also offers a walk-in shower and a double wash basin, and you’ll find two separate WCs on either floor, each with a toilet and wash basin.
WE LOVE
The maximalist design aesthetic of the living room, with enough gorgeous furniture and décor to make you want to visit a Parisian boutique.
**To rent this property, the minimum age requirement is 25 years old.**

Why they chose this property
The 16th arrondissement is to Paris what the Upper East Side is to New York: both are a haven of the fabulously wealthy, both front onto very large and famous parks, and both are jam-packed full of renowned museums. The park in question, Bois de Boulogne, is a particularly verdant oasis amidst the urban bustle, and the museums – including the Marmottan, Guimet, and the Louis Vuitton Foundation – are some of the world’s best. Also, home to the Trocadéro and sporting meccas like Roland Garros and Paris Saint-Germain, as well as some of the best architecture in the city, it’s no surprise that the 16th is one of the most sought-after districts for visitors to stay in Paris.
