Kind of seems sketchy when you first pull in, but it was quiet an exceptionally clean and the wonderful person that helped us during our stay; made or trip to Vegas feel that much better.
Easy check in, 30 mins from the speedway. Easy access to the strip, dispensaries and convenient stores.

Good times!
The outside seems a bit rough and may not be in the best part of town, however the inside was nice and clean. The bed was very comfy and the TV worked well. I would definitely stay here again!
We came here for a vacation and eventful weekend in Vegas and it was cheaper than Hotels. I found Desert Moon and was happy we chose to stay here. It’s not too far from the strip, it was cozy, clean, quiet nights, and a comfortable bed. There was a kitchenette that was convenient and the shower water was nice and hot. We would stay here again!
Staff were friendly, clean, and easy parking. Location was great if you have a car or wanting to stay around the Fremont area. The neighborhood wasn’t the greatest but had no issues. The check in process was smooth. The staff was very accommodating with early check in and a pet.
We enjoyed our stay at Desert Moon, but being completely honest- it’s in a pretty bad part of town. Overall it was a positive stay. It’s an easy walk to the Fremont Street Experience, easy to find, easy to park, very clean, and remodeled. The only negative is the area.
I was in town for a short time to visit a friend who just moved to Vegas, location is super convenient for walking and navigating in a vehicle/bikeNatalie was so gracious about my flight getting cancelled/delayed/red-eye'd & that made a HUGE difference in a very chaotic arrival!
This property was a fabulous find at a fabulous price. Its clean, they give you supplies to cook in the cook top, they are very responsive and super helpful. Only downside was we walked everywhere and its not by the best area BUT we enjoyed being so close to so many wonderful things. It is TRULY a gem of a property and I greatly recommend it to everyone. Thank you for a fabulous stay.
We had a good time. The motel is close to the Fremont experience and it is easy to get a bus to the strip. There are good food options around. There were only two things we didnt like:1. The neighborhood seems dangerous although nothing happened to us. I wouldnt recommend walking around the area at night2. The bathroom smells bad. It seems there is an issue with the plumbing becuase the smell stays
I was a little leery about staying on Fremont St. But the Desert Moon Motel was a good pick. It was clean with a little kitchenette. It was a lot quieter than I thought it would be. We stayed at the Linq a month ago and every night it was so loud. So I appreciated getting good sleep. If you need to iron anything bring an iron or maybe ask if they have one. I didn’t think to ask. Loved that they renovated an old motel and kept a little of the charm in the bathroom tiles. I will definitely stay there again.
Cute little cozy place. We brought our frying pans. We found out the stove top wasn’t working with our pans. We wanted to have other one pan to cooking. There only one special frying pan belong to the Motel. That’s why it had to use with special pan on the electric stovetop. We have not cooking for our breakfast yet. We have to eat out lots. Sighs. The couple work for this motel. They were nice and patient with us. The Area is not really good view. And no pool.
This property is close to Fremont Street. Great value for the money, the guy that checked us in was great and very nice about our needs!! Room was very clean, bed was comfortable and pillows good!! I would however do something about the water pressure in shower, it’s non existent. Other than that it’s a great place to stay!!
