The cottage will not be rented out in 2025. It will be rented out again in 2026. Classic Swedish red house with white knots. It is located right next to a lake and a large and lovely garden. In the middle of beautiful Smaland and perfect for a family who wants to experience Astrid Lindgren's world, beautiful nature and lazy days at the lake. The cottage is red with white knots and a real classic of swedish house, the cottage was built in 1940 and has a mix of old country charm and much renovated during the 60's. The most recent was a new fireplace and kitchen fan in 2017. The house is on a farm that the owners usually use. View of lake with walking distance to own dock and boat.There are two entrances to the house. The large fine entrance on the front and a rough entrance on the gable. If you take the entrance you have a small hallway with entrance to the bathroom with shower to the left. Then you come straight into the large spacious kitchen. Here you can sit and have your breakfast overlooking the water. Directly from the kitchen you will find the living room with TV and sofa and next to there is a dining room.Up the stairs is a small sleeping alcove with 90cm bed.To the left is a bedroom with 3 beds where all are 90 cm wide. Straight ahead is the master bedroom with a double bed and a cot. View of the shared bathing area and a large beautiful oak tree that will keep it protected in the summer. Warm welcome to a genuine Swedish idyll.
