The owner was very attentive to our personal needs. He allowed us to decorate the house with our personal touches so we felt right at home. Enjoyed the spacious house and would book this property again.

Not worth the money.
I host a race at Virginia Motorsports Park annually and it usually makes more sense for me to rent a house versus 4 hotel rooms for the weekend. This house was on the high end of the pricing scale but it was big enough to accommodate our party. Size of the house was the only real upside.
The house is located down a mile+ long dirt driveway/road that is barely accessible to cars. The property outside the home is dilapidated and unkempt with no real place to part vehicles. The interior of the home smells of moth balls and cat litter. There were bugs on the floors and sinks, broken/dirty appliances and the beds were the most uncomfortable I've slept on since I was in Afghanistan. The owner was friendly and available.
Long story short, the property would be a deal at a 1/3 of what it is listed for. Probably wouldn't recommend.
We ( about 20 adults and 10 kids) had a wonderful experience staying at the property. Karl was there to explain and to take care of all our needs. He even offered us an additional day of stay as a bonus. He allowed us to go around about 500+ acres he own and didn't restrict us in any manner.
My family and I had an amazing weekend at the home . Great stay for a family of 20 . This is a Great space for large families looking to spend quality time together. The lake is beautiful ! I’m already looking to plan my next stay ! We all need time to reset and this was the perfect experience for my family to enjoy each other without distractions.
