TYBYN GEO LODGE is an eco-lodge located on the edge of the Iguaque Wildlife Sanctuary, which in the Chibcha language means “VIGOROUS MOUNTAIN”; it was once the cultural epicentre of the Amerindian people; Geographically situated in the middle of the western slope of the Eastern Andes, the main objective is to develop a new ecotourism strategy that strengthens the relationship between the environment and the local culture, as well as to apply geotourism to new forms of environmental and economic development; One of the secondary objectives of TYBYN GEO LODGE is the restoration of the native forest and the wildlife characteristic of the area, such as the Arcabuco prince (hummingbird), white-tailed deer, fox, and armadillo, among others.
