AWAY FROM PRYING EYES Villa Ormofia is totally relaxing ,peaceful only several minutes away from Myrtos beach and Agia Efimia. Beautiful Infinity pool 7x4 with roman steps surrounded by a large patio areas ,gardens and a with large built in BBQ. Wifi , Airconditioning/ heating ,open fire,and fully loaded kitchen.Mosquito blinds shutters on all windows and patio door.Patio furniture , sunloungers ,parasols and large sun awning.
Master bedroom has patio doore to the pool area, King size bed. All 3 Bedrooms are ensuite fitted wardbobes ,dressing table ,hairdryer and we also have cot and highchair.Safety deposit Box.
Kitchen has Fridge/Freezer,oven,hob, kettle ,toaster, mircowave,dishwasher,washing machine,iron& board.
Cookware ,pots & pans, crockery,plates , cutlery, glassware.plastic plates and food containers ,plates and drinkware for outdoor beach and poolside. Pool towels ( not for beach use )
Extra Linen, Towels ,cleaning products , change of linen and towels.
Parking for 3 vehicles.
Central to visit all the Island and places of interest. Several minutes by car to the famous Myrtos beach and Agia Efimia with excellent amenities ,shop, restaurants,,cafes,bars , boat hire, car rental, Dive school, and much more.
Supermarkets near by at Myrtos Crossroads ,Main Road toward Agia Efimia Large supermarketat Petrol Station and bakery on same road. Near by local family tavernas .

An excellent property in a beautiful location with perfect access to different parts of the island. Communication with the owners and local manager were faultless. Look out for those amazing sunsets, the Sardinian warblers in the garden and enjoy the chaffiches and bats dipping in for an evening drink!!

Property was clean and comfortable. Host was responsive and helpful.Pool was one of the cleanest we have had and we were very impressed.Door to garden has no handle on the outside meaning you have to leave it open when using the pool. This is a design flaw as the house then heats up and mosquitos can enter the house.House has the electric on the key fob meaning when you leave the villa electricity turns off. Means you cannot run the washing machine or dish washer when you leave the villa. Also means you come back to a hot villa as the air con switches off.Not experienced this in the last 7 villas we have stayed in and would not stay in one again like this. I'd rather pay extra to have the air con left on.Beautiful beaches all very close, a hire car is a must. We visited 7 different beaches, all of which were spectacular and within a 30 min drive. Fiskardo is a must visit location!Overall had a great holiday. Villa would be perfect with an external door handle on back door and removal of the electric key fob though.

Thank you for your response. With regards to the electrical key fob,this only operates the relay for the air conditioning to prevent the system operating when no one is in the property. All other items we can assure you work when the fob is removed,including fridge freezer ,dishwasher cooker ,lighting etc. All the windows and doors except the main front door have mosquito blinds to prevent insects from entering the property,and the door can be pulled to almost closed whilst outside. The fact that there are no handles on the outside is not a design flaw but a security feature as having an external handle on either door or shutter would give direct access to the mechanism should the handle be removed. We hope this explains the issues that you experienced with our home.

My husband and I are from Yorkshire in the UK. Andy is a Dive Master and spends time at the highly regarded Dive Centre in Agia Efimia. Now myself a retired Paramedic I love to chill out and read in the quiet peaceful setting around the pool ahh bliss! We both enjoy walking ,paddleboarding ,cycling and enjoy time in our campervan having new adventures in the UK.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with Agia Efimia and with the friendly locals back in 2001, so we decided this is where we wanted to spend our future holidays . Having very stressful jobs Kefalonia left us feeling totally relaxed and chilled out so we decided to move forward and bought a large plot land in 2006 and went ahead and built 2 Villas in 2008 . The property is ideally situtated to visit all the Island and places of interest and minutes from beautiful beaches ,tavernas , shops and other amenities. The area has lots of treks and trails that take you to see tradional villages , magnificent views and the islands history. Dont forget to hunt out the magical secluded hidden coves and beaches you can find by been adventures and do try the excellent family run traditional Tavernas.

Our Villa stands nestled on a lush hillside location with views to the bay of Agia Efimia.
Offering tranquility with the only sound of song birds while you relax on the comfortable padded sunloungers around the infinity pool. Enjoy the Large built stone charcoal Barbecue by the pool for fresco dining . On a late evening you can look up see the spectacular sky display of twinkling stars and watch for the bats swooping down into the pool for a drink.
