Country House in Fajã da Ovelha - Casa da Raposeira

This pleasant country house, located in Raposeira, Fajã da Ovelha, is the ideal place for a country holiday.
Built in stone in the Madeiran style, with wooden floors, this is a rustic and welcoming place for a relaxing holiday with friends or family. With two bedrooms, both with double beds, and two bathrooms (one with a shower and the other with a bath), the house can accommodate a maximum of four people.
Outside the house is a beautiful garden where you can enjoy sunbathing or reading a book and relaxing time. If you want to put your culinary skills to the test, this house has a barbecue area available in the annex.
Finally, don't forget to take advantage of the fantastic sunsets at the end of the day.
If you are renting a car, the property has a parking spot.

AREA
The Raposeira site in Fajã da Ovelha offers peace and quiet. The countryside is perfect for letting go of stress and enjoying moments of calm and peace, in a kind of city 'reset'.
With great sun exposure all year round, the municipality of Calheta is also inviting you to set off and discover Madeira Island.
A 15-minute drive will bring you to the centre of Calheta, where you'll find the yellow sand beach, several restaurants, a supermarket and the fantastic Museum of Contemporary Art - Casa das Mudas.
Jardim do Mar and Paul do Mar are about 20 minutes away by car. These two small villages offer a beach, bars, restaurants and a beauty all of their own.
Small local bars can be found nearby.

GETTING AROUND
The best option to get to the property will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport.
If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address.
There is a bus stop 2 minutes walk from the apartment.

ACCESS TO PROPERTY
You have access to all areas of the property.

INTERACTION
We are always available to help or answer questions. We do our best to reply all requests. We also have an app for guests with all the important information about the property and other useful information for your stay.

OTHER OBSERVATIONS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (passport or identity card).
- Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. If it is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours before, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.
- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also put a baby cot, a high chair and a baby bath if needed, but you should request. There are a first aid kit, extinguishers and fire blanket in the property.

ATTENTION
Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Calheta. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. When you arrive, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.
