400 Year Old Lake District Cottage + Hot Tub Borrowdale Keswick Mountain Views

Field House is a 400 year old farm that is full of old world charm - oak beams, oak floorboards & a slate floor. We have sympathetically restored this old slate building to its former glory, plus added all the mod cons, including a hot tub, a kingsize four-poster bed, underfloor heating, double glazing and a log burner. This cosy cottage has panoramic vistas of Derwentwater, Skiddaw, Catbells, Maiden Moor, High Spy, Grange Fell, Black Crag, Troutdale Pinnacle, Shepherds Crag & Little Chamonix.

Field House is 400 year old with antique furniture, please do not expect it to look new.

Suits 2 couples. Not suitable for children. We do not accept any pets/animals for any reason.

*Please note: Uneven floors and stairs makes this unsuitable for the young, the elderly, or people with mobility issues. The low beams may cause a headache for anyone over 5'10"(177cm).

Bedroom 1 - King size four poster bed, 2 bedside tables, 2 chairs, wardrobe, drawers, mirror with vanity shelf and hair-dryer, a safe. This room has a low beam at the doorway.

Bedroom 2 - Double bed, 2 bedside tables, Wardrobe, drawers, mirror with vanity shelf and hair-dryer.

Shower-room with shower, bidet-toilet, basin, 2 mirrors and a shaver socket inside cupboards and electric towel rail, Environmentally friendly detergent provided.

Open plan Living space - slate floor with underfloor heating, corner suite, real wood-burning stove, Freesat TV, DVD & CD. This room has low beams.

Dining table and 4 chairs.

Slate worktop, dishwasher, ceramic hob range oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, kettle and toaster.

Laundry room with washing machine and dryer. Environmentally friendly detergent provided.
