The local village of Chatton is a short walk away with a post office, shop, church and the local pub, and The Annexe at Tilery Cottage is a super base from which to explore this wonderful diverse county. Fishing enthusiasts will enjoy fishing at the nearby lake or available on a private stretch of the Wooler Water (free of charge) or at the local Chatton Trout Fishery and golf enthusiasts can enjoy a round at the many local golf courses. For the more energetic, there are many walking and cycling routes from the doorstep, so leave your car behind and enjoy the outdoors.
