Atypical village house near Versailles and the African game park of Thoiry

This old house has been modernised whilst preserving its charm. An open kitchen on the ground floor and a living room with a large fireplace provide a cozy atmosphere. Upstairs a vast room with a cathedral ceiling is host to family gatherings or quiet reading moments. The small walled-in garden is perfect for happy summer meals under the climbing roses. Although very close to Paris, Jumeauville is still a farming village and offers pleasant walks in the wheat, rapeseed and maize fields around. The chateaux of Versailles, Rambouillet and the Chevreuse valley are nearby as well as the Giverny gardens, easily accessible without the hassle of heavy traffic at the city gates.
A direct train 15mn away provides easy and inexpensive access to the heart of Paris .
A very personable house with a slightly bohemian elegance.

Séjour entre amis pour le nouvel an. La maison a un cachet incroyable avec les différents meubles/objets chinés. Elle est très grande avec une pièce immense à l'étage avec charpente apparente magnifique. La literie des chambres est confortable. La cheminée est fonctionnelle et très agréable.

Noël en famille

Nous avons loué cette maison pour pouvoir passer les fêtes en famille. La maison est grande et confortable. Cependant il faisait quand même un peu froid et aussi il n’y a pas de télé (je n’avais pas fait attention aux moments de la réservation) mais ce n’est pas gênant car il y a beaucoup de livres à disposition)
