The camp is a cozy little rustic cabin on Little Madawaska lake in Aroostook County in Northern Maine. It is a one bedroom, one bath with hot and cold NON-potable water. There is a loft with two twin beds. There is also a rollaway bed and a sofa. There is a fire pit for a small campfire and one night of wood is provided. The Camp has a full kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, coffee pot, etc. This is a family camp that we decided to rent part-time so each of you can have many great vacation memories. Even though we got to the property very late! The “cabin” was just what we pictured a “Maine cabin” to be! The lake is only steps from the back deck! Even though we only got to stay one night, we really, really enjoyed it!
Very nice access to the lake. It has a dock and no steep walks. Great for swimming and/or boating. Nestled in the great North Wood of northern Maine. It’s like stepping back in time.
Dan's cabin had everything we needed for a low-key, relaxing few days away. The lake was a treat for kayaking and fishing, nearby Bangor Aroostook Rail Trail was perfect for long walks, interesting area history to explore. We usually camp out this time of year but needed things to be a little easier this year. The cabin met our needs perfectly.
Quaint and quiet property with privacy! We had a great time with our kiddos and pups. Not to far from Northstar Variety or Caribou if you need to make a trip for more supplies! You can't go wrong with staying here! Will recommend to others!
This is the second year we have rented here. Very enjoyable. Last time everything was provided. This time there were a few items missing but nothing that negatively impacted our stay or couldn't be easily remedied. Good time.
Staying in this cabin gave us the opportunity to spend time with nearby friends who could not accommodate us at their property. It was a comfortable, easy place to spend time when we were not with friends.
This was the perfect spot for a family get away! The camp has a great location and the fishing is fantastic.
Dan is a very gracious host and the camp had everything that we needed.
Thank you for allowing us to make some terrific memories!

A very telaxing stay with a lovely view of the lake. It's always nice to find a place that allows dogs. Prompt communication with Dan the owner.

Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
Very unclean stove oven. outdoor cooker, Light in living room. floor in need of repair, electric
electrical dangerous, plus no rail for side steps, was no canoes, kayaks as advertised, tv only plays DVDs. telephone only for 911, the pillows was very dirty in kitchen chair and outside glider, had to get a telephone number to get the lock number for the cabin. Had to get drinking water. Out side walls of building needs a lot of work and paint. Very disappointed overall. could not even turn on the lights that was attached to beams with extension cords, every where. Felt we should not have paid for this cabin because it was really false advertising.
The cabin is neat and clean and the view is beautiful, with a deck overlooking the lake. The owner is attentive and helpful, and the area is a beautiful, rural getaway. I would come again!

Nice deck and lake view
The location had a fairly new deck on one side and rear of property that gave a wonderful view of Madawaska Lake.......
Despite being rough around the edges, this cabin had everything we needed for a memorable vacation. We appreciated the fishing, campfire, and quiet location the most. The host, Dan, took the time to check in with us as well.
