Perfect for us for our fishing trip. Clean, comfortable and great location and view. Property is dated and a bit tatty in parts, so less suitable for those looking for a smart place to stay
The property is very dated but we new that from the photos. We took my grandchildren away & chose this as near the beach & it had a garden. The grass was not cut & was over 1 foot high, the front brick wall had collapsed leaving a not safe front garden for the children if you had the lounge patio doors open ( as it was warm weather) which was not mentioned when we booked nor in any photos advertising the property The bed settee when pulled out to make it for my son was covered in dog hair and very dirty, the toilet was leaking at the back leaving a puddle , the cooker was not clean & smelt of fat when turned on. The blinds across the windows were covered in mouldDefinitely the worst place that we have stayed in over 45 years !!!
The bungalow is situated overlooking the sea at Southbourne and has some amazing views. Overall the property was clean and the beds were comfortable so did us fine for the couple of nights we stayed. However the kitchen is in desperate need of renovation/maintenance as its very 1970s and starting to fall apart. Similarly the bathroom could also do with some modernisation and the garden would benefit from some work as was looking very overgrown. If this was addressed it would definitely improve the feel of the place as an effort has been made with new carpets throughout the rest of the house.
