Within a 7-minute walk, you’ll be outside the village and can enjoy the beautiful hiking area around the Regge Valley. It’s wonderfully varied—through the meadows alongside the riverbanks with cows or sheep, or on trails winding through the pastures. Be sure to bring your bike, because from the apartment you can easily cycle to the next trail junction. Twente features a varied landscape with picturesque and interesting villages nearby. If you prefer the city, Enschede, Rijssen, and Deventer are easily accessible by car and offer a variety of shops and interesting museums.
