About this property

I have had a cancellation for the week of July 3rd-9th. I dropped the price from $580 a night to $400 a night. If you are looking for a 4th of July get away, let me know. This two story house will take your breath away. There are many rooms to enjoy the view or soak up a good book. The over-sized upgraded kitchen was made for entertaining with an eat-in bar and spacious dining room table. The ample yard is a great place to play a game of football or to let the kids run around. You can swim off the private dock or fish as well. Two seperate sliding glass doors lead directly to the extended deck with more outdoor living space to enjoy. The house is equipped with everything you need to relax or be active during you stay a kayak, swimming gear, yard games, a grill and bikes. Everything you need to relax and have a good time can be found in this property. There is a washer/dryer in house so you can take care of laundry before you go home. This house is a great place for a large groups or an intimate family get-a-way.

Relaxing and enjoyable

Liza was great! We had 9 of us stay here and it was plenty of room. We were able to bring our own boat and dock it at the house. We loved that it was located on a small island/channel that was not super busy. We were able to relax and kyak around the island. Plenty of lake items were there for our use. We would love to rent here again.

Family friendly place for fun and relaxation

Spacious and accommodating common space, which extends to the deck and yard directly to the lake. Lots of great amenities: kayaks, floats, hammock, tree swing, fire pit, grill, etc. Clean with nostalgic lake-home feel. Well-equipped kitchen. Nice grocery and several produce farms in the area. Easy drive to Lake Michigan but our family had so much fun here that we mainly stayed at PawPaw Lake to relax and play. The owner, Liza, is a welcoming host with great communication. Hope to return in the fall to enjoy autumn foliage, hiking trails and the beautiful fireplace!

Amazing week /Best VRBO rental ever

Can’t say enough about this property ! Best house /location and set up . We had a great family gathering. Liza the owner was so gracious in answering questions and even let us use their garage of assorted “lake toys” including canoes , paddle boat, bean bags, bikes ( including a bike for two) and even a “lily pad”. The house is so well designed with spacious rooms and two that have a connected balcony overlooking the lake . Everything supplied from linens and even a extra refrigerator in the garage for drinks . There were several touches like sample shampoo and lotion in the bathroom and board games and books that just made out trip the BEST EVER in a rental ! Can’t wait to book for next year . If you are spending time looking like I did stop and know this is the greatest ❣️

Lake life for a range of ages

Comfortable house on the water with kayaks, paddle boat, and lots of floats. A much-needed low-key week for my whole family.

amazing week

we enjoyed our stay, the house had everything you could want in a lake house. on the water, big house with plenty of rooms. many bikes, kayaks, flotation rafts. great stay will come again.
