Unfortunately we had problems from arrival. We couldn’t get in the lift to take out cases to the third floor as the workmen (I’ll explain) had all their things in it, when we did get in, there were curtains hanging off, it wasn’t clean, the freezer was covered in ice and the door couldn’t be closed, the shower had black mould in, the kitchen is badly equipped, no oven or dishwasher. The blinds were electric but wouldn’t work in the main bedroom or the lounge so I didn’t get much sleep on the first night as so bright. The property company sent people the next day to fix most of the issues but they couldn’t do the lounge blinds which we said was fine. I have building work outside my property and so did my guest so to get away for peace and quiet would have been lovely, however, they were doing building work above us the whole time and the noise of the axel grinder at 9am was not what we were expecting, we literally had no peace and I feel that we should had been informed that this work was taking place and given an option as to what we wanted to do as our 8 night peaceful time was anything but. We only get to meet up once a year and it was difficult having to shout at each other. No toaster, oven, dishwasher etc.The views are stunning over the beach and the beds are very comfortable (once they’d put covers on them). All in all, I would say that they to update it as it’s a bit scruffy and done book guests in until the work has finished as there was so much dust.
