Cottage with impressive views

Nestled in the countryside just on the outskirts of the Toledo River, this cottage will give you the best views of Toledo. Yet, it’s close enough to walk over the bridge and into the old city.

Toledo

Très belle propriété avec une super vue sur Toledo. Maison est très propre et très bien agencée. Très bon accueil. La route d’accès à la propriété est un peu défoncée. Piscine est un petit peu fraîche. Passé une très bonne semaine

Toledo appartment

We stayed here 4 years ago and wanted to return because it was such a wonderful holiday. Its a lovely appartment in a beautiful location, our hosts were generous and friendly.

Super contentos con la estancia

El equilibrio perfecto para una familia en Toledo – proximidad a la ciudad, pero con espacio y mucha naturaleza, una piscina refrescante, vistas preciosas, confort y cultura. Lo pasamos muy bien y lo recomendaría sin reservas.

Una estancia fantástica

Situado en un enclave privilegiado, con unas vistas estupendas y a la vez escuchando tan sólo los sonidos de la naturaleza. La casa muy cuidada, al mínimo detalle, con una limpieza exquisita, y la piscina estupenda. Hemos encontrado tranquilidad y libertad dentro de Toledo, todo un lujo.

Perfect Visit to Toledo

Teresa and her sister were wonderful hosts for a stay in Toledo to attend a wedding. The property is exactly as pictured with jaw dropping views of Toledo. Catalina and her daughter met us for our stay after accommodating an early check-in. Throughout our stay she was always available to answer questions or call a cab. And her mother even drove us to the train station on our final day. It couldn't have been more lovely. House is outside if the city - but if your a little adventurous there are roads and paths that make it a pleasant walk into town. Wonderful visit with wonderful hosts!!!

Très bien

L'endroit est très bien situé avec une vue imprenable sur Tolède (La vue de la terrasse sur la ville éclairée le soir est magnifique). L'accueil est chaleureux et agréable. Le logement est grand et calme et la piscine offre un rafraîchissement appréciable (séjour au mois d'août)

Propriétaire très sympas parle un peu anglais et français pour les gens comme vous qui ne parlons pas espagnol Tolede est à 15 20 minutes à pied. Propriété très très Silencieuse

A great location for exploring Castilla La Mancha

Very helpful owners. Easy to follow the instructions to find the house. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine, fresh fruit , water, milk, local buns, biscuits and olive oil., which was nice. Very clean, quiet and spacious apartment, even though the owners live in the same house, which also gives a sense of security. Great AC, even on very hot days. Great views of Toledo and olive groves from the apartments’s terrace. There is no oven in the kitchen area, but a microwave and 2 cooking hobs and all other utensils are included. The road leading up to the house could be difficult for some people as it is neither tarmacked nor lit at night and quite rough under foot, but okay by car. Wifi works very well, except for one of the bedrooms, where the signal is very week. There are a few steps leading up to the apartment, and no other access. On the whole a very nice and peaceful place to stay. We would advice a car ,though, especially for grocery shopping.

Fantastic property

Great panoramic views from terraces and from living room Lots of space both outside and inside. Very nice quiet surroundings. Helpfull and friendly hosts. Helped with a lot of quetions and had bought some milk, bread, fruit and wine for us prior to arrival.

Fantastic 4 night stay in this lovely appartment.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely apartment (husband and 2 daughters aged 15 and 11). The apartment had everything we needed for a great stay plus so much more. The owners are welcoming and friendly and provided plenty of information to enhance the visit. The apartment overlooks Toledo and the view of this medieval city from the balcony at night, with the city lights shining is so beautiful. The pool is lovely and provided cool relief after a day trip to the town. Toledo itself is very interesting and bustling and must be very high up in places to visit. We invested in a hire car, which I think is needed if you visit in the summer. The apartment is well situated but is up a steep unpaved road, uncomfortable to traverse when the thermometer exceeds 40 degrees. By car it only took 10 minutes to reach the free Safont carpark, which is a short walk from the series of escalators that take you up to the centre of Toledo. The apartment has really efficient air conditioning in every room, very user friendly. The owners were very generous in what they provided, plenty of towels (including pool towels),kitchen treats, cakes and biscuits even a selection of flavoured teas. The rooms are artistically decorated, plenty of books, games and interesting nick knacks to peruse. Meticulously clean but homely and the wi fi works, which pleased the girls. In short we loved it and would come again and stay longer. Top tip, on finding place, its best to use map and not just rely on sat nav, as there are 2 entrances to home, the main entrance is much easier and direct (road up not great but you get use to it ).

What a great property A*** HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Really impressed by this property we had a great time here and can’t thank the owners enough. Only down side is the rough lane which provides entry which would not be easy for those with walking difficulties or in our case coming back from a bar! Our kids loved the pool at the house and we thought the there was a high standard of accommodation throughout. Great value and can’t recommend enough! Thanks Pepe!

Séjour très agréable et reposant. Tout à fait conforme à nos attentes. Accueil chaleureux.

Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par Maria-José et Pepe qui sont charmants et de très bon conseil sur les lieux à visiter. La vue sur Tolede est superbe. La location proposée très propre et confortable, la décoration soignée. Nous avons bien profité de la piscine et du jardin très bien entretenus. La maison est retirée au calme, dans les hauteurs et pourtant nous n'étions qu'à une dizaine de minutes à pied du Pont San Martin offrant un accès rapide à la vieille ville. Des sentiers aménagés à arpenter autour de Tolede pour découvrir le paysage. Inutile d'être tout le temps en voiture ! Escapade à Madrid possible en train depuis la gare de Tolede. Pour info : 10 min à pied de la gare Atocha au musée du Prado. Plusieurs supermarchés à deux kilomètres et petites halles à côté de la Cathédrale qui dépannent bien. Temps magnifique avec une brise salutaire. Séjour réussi !

Loved the casa, the views, the charm and the city!

Spectacular, charming, clean, elegantly appointed, gracious, helpful and adorable hosts...Breathtaking views of Toledo from balcony of the apartment...Walking distance to center of walled Toledo, but walk is hilly and could be challenging to some. Road into villa is unpaved. Overall an incredible and memorable stay. Highly recommend!

Lovely apartment with stunning views

We had a very lovely stay in this apartment. It is very comfortable and the owners had made every effort to provide everything that could be required, even leaving coffee and some breakfast provisions. The view from the terrace is simply stunning and well worth the walk into town. The apartment allows for a great combination of relaxing time by the pool and strolls into and around Toledo. We would recommend it.

Wonderful apartment with the most wonderful owners!

I have just returned home having stayed 4 nights at the Cigarral de villamarta. What can I say other than it's absolutely wonderful! It's even better than the photos, spotlessly clean and has every thing you could possible need. The pool are is private and very well maintained and the views are unbelievable! The owners ( Pepe and Maria Jose who live below) were very welcoming and couldn't do enough to help us. I travelled with my husband and 2 young children and have to admit the walk into Toledo was far to much for the children but Pepe rang for a taxi each night which made our stay even better! This place is just amazing!!!

Superbe location que nous recommandons

Il est de ces séjours inoubliables et Tolède en fait partie....NOus avons passé un excellent séjour chez Teresa. Une vue magnifique sur Tolède et à quelques pas de la ville. La villa est fraîche, magnifiquement meublée et très agréable avec la piscine. Nous voyageons beaucoup et cette demeure reste une adresse que je partagerai avec nos amis, sans problème. Merci à Teresa pour ses conseils et aux propriétaires sur place lors du séjour pour rendre notre séjour serein et agréable.

Geweldig!

Schitterende en rustige ligging op een berg omringd door olijfbomen met prachtig uitzicht op Toledo. Het huis en de omgeving zijn inderdaad nog mooier dan op de foto's. Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame gastheer en gastvrouw! Toledo goed bereikbaar te voet of met de auto. Dagtrip naar Madrid met de auto ging ook perfect. Heerlijk huis en van het zwembad hebben wij heel veel gebruik gemaakt aangezien wij zelfs een piek van 43°C hebben meegemaakt! Looppad naar de stad niet handig voor mensen met kleine kinderen of kinderwagens maar onze jongens zijn 15 en 11. En ook nog overal gezellige zitjes in en rondom het huis.
