We stayed at this cottage for 3 days as a group of 12 people, including two children and two elderly individuals, and unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. As soon as we arrived, we were informed that the handrail on the stairs from the ground floor to the upper floor was broken. This was extremely stressful and concerning, especially considering we had children and elderly people with us. It created a serious safety risk that should have been addressed before guests arrived.Additionally, the hot tub was not functioning properly. During our entire stay, we were only able to use it for half a day. The rest of the time it was cold and showing errors, which was very frustrating. The kitchen sink was also completely blocked, causing water to accumulate and making it very inconvenient to use. We had to deal with this issue throughout our stay, which significantly impacted our comfort.Overall, the property was poorly maintained, and there was a lack of proper response or support when issues were raised. Our stay was not enjoyable at all, and it did not meet our expectations.I do not recommend this place, especially for families with children or elderly guests, due to the safety concerns and lack of proper maintenance and support.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations, and we appreciate the opportunity to respond to your concerns.
Regarding the staircase, we did inform you prior to and upon arrival that the previous guest had caused slight damage to one of the handrails on the morning of your check-in. We arranged for our builder to attend as soon as possible; however, they were only available the following day. As we did not receive a response from you after explaining the situation, we did not want to intrude on your stay unnecessarily. We would also like to clarify that the staircase has handrails on both sides, and it remained safe to use.
In relation to the hot tub, the error message you experienced is typically caused when the water level drops too low, often due to excess splashing or frequent entry and exit. As soon as this was reported, the owner attended promptly and refilled the hot tub for you. We have not encountered this issue with previous guests and have been hosting for nearly two years without similar problems. Which can be shown in previous reviews on other sites.
We do apologise for the issue with the kitchen sink. Unfortunately, this was not reported to us during your stay, and had we been made aware, we would have arranged for it to be resolved immediately. This issue has now been resolved.
We always aim to provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience for our guests and take all feedback seriously to help us improve.
