About this property
Cosy house w/ woodburner, 8 minute walk Victoria Line, then 25 mins Central LDN
Terraced house with a garden, on a quiet street in Walthamstow with fantastic transport links to central London (Victoria Line & Overground). Full kitchen, cosy living room with wood burning stove and a projector.
A 7 min walk to Victoria Line (Blackhorse Road Station) running to Oxford Street via Highbury & Islington, Kings Cross; & a 6 min walk to the overground (St James Street Station) running to Liverpool Street via Hackney, Bethnal Green & London Fields.
This is our home, not a portfolio property. As such it is more lived in that and we think this makes it more cosy!
We both work in creative industries so there are a lot of books on film, art and design as well as a lot of books on the history of the local area and the Epping Forest. You're welcome to read the books and magazines, play the boardgames (and we have a lot of them) but we kindly ask you to put everything as it was before you leave.
The kitchen has a 4-hob induction plate, double oven, microwave, toaster & kettle. There's a filter coffee machine but this sometimes travels with us.
Because it is a lived in house, you'll feel like at home and our previous guests said that staying in our home felt like visiting a friend in London. With the booking we will send you a digital house manual which also has up to date recommendations for the local area for walking, eating and drinking as well as local galleries & museums.
