Newly renovated house, lake plot with own jetty. Welcome to Lillgatö Venjan in the heart of Dalarna with lake plot and own jetty 15 meters below the house. Enjoy summer days in the sun or sit on the balcony and admire the beautiful view of the lake, rent the owner's boat to enjoy Lake Venjan. It is a large plot with lawn in a fantastic Dala environment with scenic surroundings. The house is completely newly renovated with fresh furnishings and everything you need for a pleasant stay during all months of the year. Different experiences and activities depending on which season you visit Dalarna, it is only 6 miles to Sälen. The large kitchen joins the living room and the dining area, here there is a new soapstone wood stove that brightens the evenings with a small fire. There are three bedrooms, one with a bunk bed, in the second bedroom there are two single beds, and in the third room there is a double bed. Bathroom with shower and wc. There are two balconies to the house, a slightly smaller one with a roof and morning sun and a larger balcony with a roof at the front. In the beautiful and wilderness-like parish there is plenty to do and experience, outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, skiing, and why not canoe in all the beautiful lakes. Fishing is very popular, you can buy a fishing license in the I-fiske app. Dalarna's medieval shack culture, cultural events and crafts are also big. In Venjan, you can also cycle on the marked MTB trails, and for those who like dirt road cycling, Venjan is a paradise. There are plenty of dirt roads around the village. Canoe or kayak in Litterån, Vanån or Lake Venjansjön. Venjan has plenty of fishing water with streams, rivers, lakes and ponds. On days that are best suited for indoor activities, it might be nice to try Venjan's activity house with bowling and aerial shooting. Two nice hikes in the Venjan region are the Kräggaholmsleden and the trail towards Åsen/Åsklitten. Within a couple of hours' drive and a pleasant day trip there are many of the classic tourist destinations and sights of the Dalarna and Siljan area, such as Dalahest production in Nusnäs, Zorngården in Mora, the Carnivore Park in Orsa Grönklitt, Leksand Sommarland and Rättvik with summer tobogganing, Långbryggan and music experiences in Dalhalla. In Mora, about 45 kilometers from the cottage, you will find all services and well-stocked shops as well as restaurants of various kinds. The promenade in the middle of Mora has many attractions. The area around Siljan is beautiful to visit in all seasons of the year. Welcome to Dalarna up close!
