Getaway to our charming, spacious, Garden Rooms with a light, comfortable and contemporary feel that perfectly complements the historic village setting and gardens around it. It is a truly unique English village location.
You will sleep in comfortable king size bed in cosy but airy, large double bedroom with large windows giving relaxing garden views. There is a private bathroom (toilet, shower and basin) and a private, restful sittingroom downstairs with a comfortable armchair, sofa, writing desk, table and chairs.
As we are within the South Downs Dark Skies Area the Low Light Zone it means it is a wonderful spot for star-gazing. Then pull the black-out curtains closed for a great nights sleep.
La Luna Cafe, St Mary’s Church, White’s Cafe, Gilbert White’s House, Museum & Gardens and the Oates Collection are moments away by as well as a gorgeous vintage clothes shop and and a retro furniture shop.
The village is surrounded by scenery of outstanding natural beauty very popular with walkers.
While staying you will be situated in one of Hampshire's most un-spoilt and characterful villages.
Amongst many places of interest Jane Austin’s House & Museum is a short drive in neighbouring Chawton. The market town of Alton provides a range of facilities, supermarkets, banks, pharmacies as well as a mainline train station to London Waterloo in 1hr. The famous Watercress Line steam train also departs regularly from the station.
There is private off road parking provided for one car directly outside. The A3 nearby provides a road route northwards to London and southwards to the South coast.
