The bungalow ‘Duinparel’ is located in the green heart of the Poldersbos, a small private park sandwiched between two Natura 2000 areas. On one side are the Springerduinen, where roe deer and various bird species make their home among the dune tops, hawthorn, buckthorn, elderberry bushes and blackberry bushes.

On the other side is the Volgerland, where in spring birds like the reed warbler and the reed bunting build their nests, and in autumn various waders and geese prepare for their migration south. From the house you are in the dunes within 30 seconds and within 5 minutes you can walk through the Volgerland. So you are in the middle of nature, while enjoying all the comforts of the bright, spacious bungalow. The large 1000-square-metre garden regularly hosts special birds, deer and rabbits, which you can admire from the spacious living room surrounded by windows. Whether you are inside or outside, you are always surrounded by the peaceful greenery, as the bungalow is located on a cul-de-sac with hardly any traffic.

The bungalow has a spacious parking space at the house, suitable for three cars. The garden is very spacious but not fenced; however, a maximum of two dogs are allowed. The park has a strict policy, which means that dogs must always be on a leash when walking around the park. The garden has several seating areas, scattered around the grounds, with fixed awnings or removable canopies. There is also a hammock and a swing bench with awnings.

Outdoor meals can be enjoyed at the wooden garden table with fixed benches. In the garden area at the back of the house there is a fire pit, where you can have a cosy evening. On the terrace at the front of the house is a stone wood-burning stove and a coal BBQ is also available at this house.
Always keep fire danger in mind, as you are in the middle of a nature reserve. We therefore recommend keeping a bucket of water or sand handy for emergencies. There is an outdoor tap with hose at the side of the house. The owner greatly appreciates it if you water the plants during a longer stay at the Duinparel.
There is also a coal BBQ available.

Bicycles can be stored in the shed next to the house, where the cushions of the garden furniture can also be stored to keep them dry in case of rain. The garden can be accessed from the house via the double sliding doors, one of which is fitted with a mosquito net to keep insects out.

Inside, you will find a very spacious living room with air conditioning, a Smart TV and internet, so you can stream your own Netflix account, for example. You can cosy up on the 3-seater lounge sofa or in one of the two armchairs around the large coffee table. For enthusiasts, there is also a piano, although it is not tuned, so there might be a false note. There is also a large dining table with five chairs in the living room, close to the modern open-plan kitchen.

In the kitchen you will find a gas cooker, a hot-air oven with microwave function, a fridge freezer and a dishwasher. Coffee can be made with a filter machine or a Senseo pad machine. The kitchen is equipped with almost everything you need: a set of pans, toaster, toaster iron, kettle, hand blender, regular mixer, juicer, blender, baking pans and oven dishes. In the large cupboard in the living room you will find plenty of plates, glasses, cups, cutlery, spatulas and chopping boards.

The bungalow has two bedrooms. The first bedroom has a double bed 140 cm wide and 200 cm long, with two bedside tables. The windows of this room have blackout curtains, cannot be opened and have a ventilation grille. The second bedroom has a double bed 160 cm wide and 200 cm long with separate electrically adjustable mattresses, two bedside tables, reading lights and a wardrobe for clothes and other items. The window of this bedroom also has blackout curtains, can be opened and has a mosquito net.

The bathroom with walk-in shower is equipped with a sink with storage, a towel radiator, mirror, hairdryer and an extractor. The window has ventilation grills but cannot be opened. The first toilet is in the hallway and the second toilet is in the room where the washing machine and dryer are also located. Of course, there are plenty of cleaning utensils, as well as a hoover, ironing board and iron.

In short, this bungalow is fully equipped to make your holiday a success, in one of the most beautiful spots on the island.
