About this property
Urban Loft in Athina
A stylish apartment in Athens, owned and designed by Neta Dror, a designer and artist who has infused the space with her personal vision. This apartment has a unique space that combines old and new elements. The apartment has a large living room with a comfortable sofa, a dining table and a kitchen with all the amenities. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed and a hidden bathroom that surprises and delights. This apartment is more than just a place to sleep, it is a place to experience.
Despite the large numbers of transients Exarchia attracts, this jumble of pre-war townhouses and ageing post-war apartment buildings preserves a strong sense of community and tradition, with publishing houses, bookbinders, the city’s liveliest farmers’ market, rembetiko tavernas, punk boutiques, old-fashioned coffee houses, bars, a self-managed park, the "National Archaeological Museum" and delightful "Epigraphic Museum", all within its boundaries.
Built into the slopes of Lycabettus Hill, Neapoli, the city’s second oldest neighbourhood after Plaka, acts as a buffer zone between Kolonaki, disdained by Exarchia’s denizens as the bastion of the bourgeoisie.
It is located right between Exarchia's 2 main streets and surrounded with cool taverns, coffee places, restaurants and artists selling their creations.
For those of you who like art and plants you will find multiple boutiques within a light walk.
Lycabbetus hill is 700m away, Omonia metro station is 800m away.
