Biddlestone Farmhouse is a beautifully finished rural retreat, combining original character with modern comfort, ideal for families or groups looking to relax and reconnect. Set on a working farm at the edge of Northumberland National Park, this spacious home offers panoramic countryside views, peaceful walking trails from the doorstep, and a hot tub to unwind under the stars after a day of discovery. You’re within easy reach of Rothbury, with its independent shops, welcoming pubs, and riverside walks, as well as the enchanting Cragside House and Gardens. Explore the dramatic Simonside Hills, visit the historic Biddlestone Chapel, or head to Alnwick Castle and Gardens. For a taste of the coast, Alnmouth offers sandy beaches, coastal walks, and golf.
Enter through the boot room, perfect for storing coats and outdoor gear, and into the stylish kitchen/diner. The centrepiece is an exposed brick fireplace with a traditional oil-fuelled Rayburn, complemented by a large dining table and breakfast bar. Just off the hallway, the two beautifully appointed lounges each feature a wood-burning stove, Smart TV, and comfortable seating, ideal for cosy evenings in. A single bedroom with an en-suite shower room is also on the ground floor. Upstairs, there are two spacious family bedrooms, each with a king-size and single bed. One includes an en-suite shower room, while the other has dual-aspect windows and a tranquil seating area. A third king-size bedroom also offers an en-suite and a relaxing space to unwind. The cheerful bunk room is perfect for younger guests, and the family bathroom completes the floor.
Outside, the generous enclosed garden is ideal for children and pets to play. A large patio area with seating and a BBQ is perfect for alfresco dining, while a sheltered hot tub offers a blissful spot to relax. Surrounded by rolling countryside, the garden provides a peaceful haven to enjoy nature’s beauty.
