Chalet with Garden in Lotharingen

This beautiful, authentic chalet with sauna is blessed with breathtaking views and a great location, in the heart of the Vosges mountains. It consists of 2 separate houses, each with its own entrance. You can socialise on the sun-drenched balcony, making it ideal for friendly couples and families. The property is not ideal for holidaymakers with reduced mobility.

The property is located at the foot of the Ballon d'Alsace and the Ballon de Servance, near the Moselle and close to the picturesque Saint-Maurice-sur-Moselle. The region offers wonderful cycling and hiking routes with altitude differences between 550 and 1250 metres. You can do winter sports at the ski resorts of Le Rouge Gazon and Ventron (30 km of slopes; ranging from green to black). For beginners, there is a ski school with treadmill. Various events are organised during holiday periods, such as torchlight processions and night sled racing.

A place free of mass tourism where authenticity, primal cosiness and excellent local gastronomy come together. The chalet is relatively simple but equipped with all necessities. You can relax in the spacious garden with terrace and barbecue.

Wij verbleven er 5 nachten. En het was echt fantastisch. Bij aankomst stond er een fles wijn en wat snoepjes. Het chalet is gezellig met ook een sauna. Ook werden we er vriendelijk verwelkomt door de eigenaar mr. Christiaens die ons ook uitgebreid uitleg gaf over de bezienswaardigheden en restaurants in de omgeving. En vanuit het Chalet kan men mooie wandelingen maken of zoals ik ook trails lopen met veel hoogtemeters. Een aanrader en wij komen zeker terug.

Erstens ist der Besitzer sehr nett! Und das Haus ist von innen wirklich süß, aber einfach zu klein, als dass wir zu sechst zum Beispiel auf der Couch fernsehen könnten. Auch die Sauna ist zu klein, um sie wirklich genießen zu können. Sie sitzen mit dem Kopf an der Decke und die Bretter sind zu schmal/kurz, um sich hinzulegen. Die Wohnung im Erdgeschoss ist eigentlich besser, weil man dort mehr Privatsphäre und einen schönen Garten hat. Das Haus darüber bietet wenig Privatsphäre und eine sehr kleine Terrasse. Und obendrein haben sie die ganze Woche damit verbracht, die beiden Tiny Houses direkt vor dem Haus mit Strom usw. zu versorgen, so dass überall, hinter dem Haus, Busse fuhren. Wenn wir jeden Tag Skifahren gehen könnten, wäre das eigentlich kein Problem gewesen, aber wir wollten einfach nicht draußen sitzen. Das Gebiet ist zu niedrig für Schnee, sodass Sie einen Skiurlaub kurzfristig buchen müssen. Ich denke, im Sommer wird es hier mehr Spaß machen, aber wenn Sie Ruhe und Privatsphäre wünschen, würde ich etwas anderes wählen.

Haus in Ordnung und sehr gemütlich nur was besser sein könnte: - normales Pfannenset mit passenden Deckeln - ausreichend Besteck und alle üblichen Küchenutensilien vorhanden - normalerweise feste Kissen (nicht dass es ein bisschen schwach wäre, man merkt es kaum) Sauna, die richtig funktioniert - Türgriff, für den man keine Sprottenschule machen muss (meine Mutter würde diese Tür nie schließen). - Heizung im unteren Teil des Hauses funktioniert nicht (Herd in der Küche) Alles in allem keine unüberwindbaren Katastrophen, aber für ein Haus für 1600 € für eine Woche erwarte ich, dass alles da ist und einwandfrei funktioniert. Kommt nur schlampig rüber und nervt z.B. beim Kochen. Außerdem war zum Beispiel die Sauna ein Grund, sich für dieses Haus zu entscheiden und dann freut man sich darauf und ich denke, dass ich erwarten kann, dass es in Ordnung ist, und das ist es nicht. Außerdem ist es einerseits sehr schön, dass es in der Nähe des Skigebiets liegt, andererseits ist das Dorf selbst für Ruhesuchende völlig verblutet und es gibt wirklich nichts zu tun, außer dem Supermarkt und dem Bäcker ( Restaurants sind geschlossen und es gibt nichts anderes) , aber das ist natürlich eher Geschmackssache, aber meiner Meinung nach ist es wichtig zu wissen.
