The Gesäuse National Park and the Kalkalpen National Park are in the immediate vicinity, a nice excursion destination is Admont Abbey. You can play golf in Pichlarn (approx. 40 km) or in the Murtal (approx. 40 km).

The ski lift to the well-known and traditional family ski area Ski Hohentauern with 11 kilometers of slopes is in the immediate vicinity.

Summer is best known for the many lakes, thermal baths and the impressive Hohe Tauern mountain range. The more than 200 days of sunshine per year and the snow-sure ski area make this area a perfect holiday region at any time of the year.
