Our stay was great, 6 days total. A few hiccups but nothing the host could not fix for us. Our toilet clogged, older building I think, but was rectified quickly. We needed to ask for new towels and garbage to be picked up half way through, which again wasn't an issue. Host is fairly fast to respond and have the items ready for you outside your door. One thing I noted was that the room smelled like maybe there has been a smoker in it. Otherwise it was clean and bright and no different from staying at a hotel in the room. It's quieter and cheaper and helped us stay on budget on our trip. Would definitely stay again.

On a scale of 1-5 i would give it a 10 for location. It is directly downtown in St. John's and close to many things. Room and bathroom were very clean just as described in photos. Location is a huge benefit being able to walk to everything. On the slightly negative side, we were not able to access the TV (it does not have regular cable) and you are supposed to use it from your PC or phone. Could perhaps come with a clock radio for convenience. We could not get it to work at all. Also, being located on the main street in downtown, there was street racing and fireworks that went off on Friday and Saturday night until almost 3:30 AM. Aside from that, it is a great spot!
