We had such a peaceful stay

We had such a peaceful stay. The village is so pretty and cafes and restaurants are so close to the cottage. The cottage was spotless and had all the amenities we needed. We will definitely be coming again.

A lovely place, equipped with enough to get a couple by for a few days.

Easy to find and in a lovely little village with a beautiful coffee shop a stones throw away. The bath was a little small and there wasn’t any area to have a sit down meal at but otherwise, really nice and pleasant stay. Would recommend to others. Thank you.

Great location for Cotswold Way

Great location, we were walking sections of the Cotswolds Way which was just a couple of mins walk from the door. Plus appreciated the off road parking space!

We had an excellent break in Painswick

We had an excellent break in Painswick. The location is amazing with lovely cafes and restaurants within a few minutes walk of the cottage. It was the perfect place for walking too. The cottage was really nice and very clean. The bath was nice but as there is only a handheld shower over the bath it was very awkward for hair washing! If you have a large car it may be interesting trying to park if the other two cars are in, but the cottage is fortunate to have a drive/parking space as a lot of other properties nearby don’t! We really enjoyed our time here and would recommend.

Painswick offers many opportunities for exploration everything is there: a pub, a small grocery store, a pharmacy, and a bakery. The Cotswolds are simply picturesque and offer a wide variety of activities. The accommodation in Painswick was very good we felt at home. Everything was as described, and they even provided cakes from the local bakery. Two points that we weren't convinced by. First, the bathroom was beautiful, but the small tub without a shower curtain made showering every day an unnecessarily complicated experience 😉. Second, the bedroom was large, but the bed was still small, too small by today's standards.

Lovely little one up one down cottage with bedroom and bathroom in the eaves

Lovely little one up one down cottage with bedroom and bathroom in the eaves. Parking in a shared courtyard at the front of the property. Great location with lovely pubs, walks and corner shop within easy distance. Right beside the church and the clock tower which are very beautiful but in full working order which might be worth knowing if bells chiming every 15 minutes might keep you awake. Lovely bath but as other review need full mobility to climb into and the showers above the bath so can’t separate. Lots of hot water 24/7. Lovely bed and bed linen but again just worth noting it’s a double bed which as a “ tall” couple was a bit challenging. We had perfect weather and the cottage and surroundings could not have been more beautiful.
