Pleasantly surprised

I will happily admit that I booked this not really knowing anything about the property but we needed somewhere to stay that was inexpensive. We were visiting the area to see family. The accommodation on the website says shared bathrooms- not something we really wanted but nevertheless it turned out that we had a room with our own toilet and wash basin. There were shower rooms and bathrooms close to all the rooms in our part of the accommodation. The decor is a bit tired but I understand that it hasn’t been serviced accommodation for very long. The chest of drawers was broken but the wardrobe was ok. It was a benefit to have Tescos just across the street so getting food was ok and the kitchen was clean and all guests seemed to keep that way. Kitchen was well equipped. Generally a good place to stay if you don’t want the expense of an hotel.
