The host was extremely communicative and friendly. Communication was excellent. The location is outstanding, near the bus and train station. Walking distance to city center. The apartment was cozy, quiet and comfortable. Perfect for my adult daughter and I. We were able to explore the whole area with ease using the apartment as a homebase.

Acceptable for affordable accommodations in a convenient location. It is up 4 flights of narrow stairs, so plan accordingly for your luggage. Small enhancements in the finishes could bring this to a higher rating (front door fits poorly so very hard to open, missing screws on interior door handles, etc.).

Dear VRBO: this place is NOT up to snuff per branding. We didn't feel safe, fire-wise. Pricey for what we got vs. our other Bergen stays. Shower looked gritty-didn't use it. Left after 1 night despite booking for 3.Bedroom space & set-up are under par. Beds & linens were great.

The host was very responsive to any and all questions I had. The apartment was cold when I first arrived and took a while for the heaters to bring it up to a comfortable cozy temperature, but once there quite comfortable. The train and bus stations are very close by for my arrival and departure from Bergen. I walked everywhere from the apartment and there were shops nearby to get some supplies for meals. It is a very quiet location and I would definitely stay here again. it is the top floor so better to not have a lot of luggage. I am a carry-on only traveler so it was fine for me.
