Casa Piedra is a rock climbing park located in PUERTO INGENIERO IBAÑEZ. At the mouth of the Ibáñez River, in a beautiful native forest with a variety of trees. Simple, beautiful, welcoming, and full of creativity. Designed so you can enjoy yourself comfortably and connect with the natural paradise that surrounds us. Its rock walls are perfect for climbing, with more than 30 equipped routes across 7 sectors ideal for all skill levels. The lodge is unique and breathtakingly beautiful. Casa Piedra features this lovely cabin—a small work of art created by its architect-owners, full of intricate details and built primarily with local materials. It is completely insulated with sheep’s wool and built using natural construction techniques with white clay from the Ibáñez River. A perfect space to rest, read, drink mate, cook, warm up by the wood fire, and connect with the majestic nature of Patagonia. There are also two camping areas located in the native forests at the base of the mountain, very close to the climbing areas and the common facilities. It features a high-quality, ecologically designed bathroom facility that blends architecturally with the surroundings, featuring dry toilets and showers with 100% pure, natural water. Inside the park is a 20-meter-deep cave with cave paintings inside. This cave is known as Casa Piedra and is part of a roughly 1-kilometer-long trail called Rutas Arqueológicas—a perfect daytime activity. It is of low-to-medium difficulty, making it ideal for children.
