About this property
The Barn at Tyddyn-y- Felin
Discover this stunning cottage nestled in the peaceful countryside of Llangybi, Gwynedd, surrounded by 17 acres of beautiful grounds. Tyddyn Felin Barn offers a truly relaxing escape, where open spaces and scenic surroundings make it easy to unwind the moment you step inside.
The spacious kitchen/diner is the heart of the home, featuring a traditional oil-fired AGA for that cosy, rustic charm, as well as modern appliances including a microwave, fridge/freezer, oven/hob, washing machine, and dishwasher. After preparing a delicious meal, enjoy dining by the woodburning stove to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. For those moments of solitude, the separate sitting room with its own woodburning stove is perfect for curling up with a book.
Sleeping arrangements include three beautiful bedrooms: a king-size room with a basin and an en-suite roll-top bath, shower over, and WC; another king-size room with a roll-top bath, hand-held shower, en-suite basin, and WC; and a cosy twin room. For the seventh guest, there's a day bed on the landing, and a ground-floor cloakroom with WC and wash basin.
Outside, you’ll find a private rear garden complete with a patio, furniture, and BBQ - ideal for alfresco dining in the warmer months. Guests can also enjoy walking through two acres of picturesque landscapes, perfect for a peaceful stroll. The area is perfect for exploring, whether you enjoy cycling, walking along country lanes, or taking in the abundant wildlife that frequently visits the property, including pheasants, hares, and woodpeckers.
The property also offers off-road parking, and a highchair and travel cot are available for those with little ones (pillow and linen not provided).
Local amenities include a pub just 2.7 miles away, with the shop and beach in Criccieth only 4.4 miles from the property. Explore Criccieth Castle and enjoy the town’s fantastic eateries and shops. The Barn serves as an ideal base for your Welsh adventure. Nearby, the village of Llanystumdwy, the childhood home of David Lloyd George, features a museum and his burial site.
An additional property, The Coach House is available onsite and can accommodate up to two more guests. For more information or to book your stay, please contact Finest Retreats.
