Tranquil accommodation near Lucca

Beautiful traditional house in small village ( be prepared to drive or walk 45 min get to Lucca centre). Fully equipped with caring owners. Has a great restaurant within walking distance, Antica Osteria. We would stay here again!

Entspannte Tage mit Fahrrädern

Unser Aufenthalt bei Luciano war außergewöhnlich schön. Wir waren als Ehepaar mit unserer erwachsenen Tochter und einer Freundin dort. Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral und doch sehr ruhig. Sie ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Radtouren in alle Richtungen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die tolle Ausstattung des gesamten Hauses. Es ist wirklich alles zu finden was man zum Kochen und für einen entspannten Aufenthalt braucht. Alles ist liebevoll und authentisch zu der alten Villa eingerichtet. Wir haben auch die vorhandenen Fahrräder genutzt, um nach Lucca zu kommen. Luciano war ein perfekter und gewissenhafter Gastgeber. Vielen Dank Luciano, wir kommen gerne einmal wieder.

Super Ferienwohnung/- haus

Wir haben uns in der Villa Orsolini alle sehr wohlgefühlt. Luciano ist ein toller Gastgeber. Die Beschreibungen haben voll zugetroffen. Uns haben die beiden Aussenterrassen sehr gut gefallen. Eine der beiden Terrasse war immer schattig und wir konnten zu jeder Zeit entspannt draußen sitzen.

Wat een mooie plek!

Mooi en schoon authentiek huis op een prachtige locatie. De grote tuin met veel privacy zorgt voor verkoeling op warme dagen. Fijne centrale uitvalsbasis naar de mooie Toscaanse steden. Wij hebben hier 2 fijne weken gehad!

Beautiful villa only 2.5 miles from center of Lucca, but felt worlds away. Situated in a quiet residential neighborhood, it was conveniently placed close to local amenities (grocery store, etc.). Wonderful outdoor sitting/eating areas and local Osteria (5’ walk) was excellent (had dinner there twice in 4 days). Local church bells tolling on the hour just added to the charm of the setting! Above all, Luciano was a gracious and informative host. We would love to come back someday for another stay at Villa Osrolini!

Lucca with friends

We stayed at Villa Orsolini with another couple for 4 nights. It is everything an Italian villa should be. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. The outdoor dining area was a welcome change from indoor dining. The home was decorated with many beautiful antiques, The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. The only drawback was the description on the villa. It says that there is one full bath and one half bath. That is incorrect. There is only one full bath. We were disappointed, as that was a feature that we were looking for. Two bathrooms. The location is charming. The Italian countryside provided many gorgeous walks, Yet we were only about 10 minutes to the Lucca wall and city center. All in all we enjoyed our stay at the villa, and would recommend it to anyone who loves the countryside!

Ferienhaus in Luca

Wunderschöne Ferienhaus, ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht. Superlage um viele schöne Städte in Toskana zu besichtigen. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben unser Aufenthalt bis zum letzte Minute genossen Danke, Luciano Liebe Grüße , Familie Mirkin

Im Tal der Hunde

Das Wichtigste zuerst: Sie buchen nicht eine ganze Villa für sich alleine, sondern lediglich eine halbe Villa. Der Cousin des Vermieters wohnt in der andren Hälfte des Hauses. Diese Leute waren enorm unaufdringlich, so sehr, dass sie einem nicht mal ein „Hallo“ über den Gartenzaun zuraunen konnten - aber OK, jeder wie er/sie möchte. Was nun den Aspekt der Nachtruhe angeht, ich selbst hatte fast mein ganzes Leben lang Hunde und bin auf dem Dorf groß geworden, kenne also das gelegentliche Bellen von Hunden, dort aber ging das ohne Unterlass die ganze Nacht und ich übertreibe hier nicht. Ansonsten ist die Villa durchaus geschmackvoll eingerichtet und die Außenanlage ist sehr schön angelegt. Die Bilder dazu spiegeln das korrekt wider. Der Gastgeber war freundlich, die Lobhudelei der anderen Rezensionen kann aber weder meine Frau noch ich, so ganz nachvollziehen.

Holiday in Paradise

We came for the second time and everything is still great. Very friendly host, neat and tidy property, well-equipped house. Perfect place to start some trips to Lucca, Pisa, Siena, the beach... Luciano offers great tipps about restaurants, stores and places to see. He is happy when you are happy ;-) We highly recommend the Villa Orsolini!

Wunderschönes Landhaus in der Nähe von Lucca

Das Haus liegt ca. 4 km von der Altstadt von Lucca entfernt in einem Ortsteil von Lucca (Meati). Das Haus ist über eine Auffahrt erreichbar und liegt abgeschirmt von einigen anderen Anwesen auf einem Hügel. Die Einrichtung ist z.T. antik, sehr geschmackvoll. Die Küche bietet alles, was man braucht (Gasherd, moderne Ausstattung). Das Haus ist eines der schönsten, die wir bisher gemietet haben und hat toskanischen Charme. Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und bei allen Anliegen behilflich. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Superschöner Urlaub

Das Haus ist wirklich genauso schön wie auf den Bildern, der Garten ein Traum und Luciano ein zuverlässiger, hilfsbereiter und freundlicher Vermieter. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden gerne einmal wieder kommen wollen. Toller Urlaub!

Perfect Location Just Outside of Lucca

My niece and I thoroughly enjoyed and loved staying in this home. Check-in was easy, everything was clean and the decor was charming. The location was perfect- only about a 10 minute drive to the old walled city. We also drove to Viareggio for a beach day (super easy and inexpensive for the beach club pass), Siena, and Florence. This house was the perfect respite from busy days in very busy cities. We were there during some pretty hot weather, and the house stayed cool enough that we were never uncomfortable. The outdoor seating areas were lovely and the neighborhood was very quiet. If you go, please eat at the little restaurant around the corner. The food was wonderful, and the outdoor seating was lovely. In summary, this home was so charming, had all the modern kitchen amenities, was peaceful and in a perfect location. Highly recommended.

Relaxing, lovely villa!

Our host, Luciano, was welcoming, communicative, and helpful. His historic family villa is perfectly situated — we felt miles away from anywhere, yet we were just a short bike ride away from Lucca! Everything provided a sense of tranquility — from the well-stocked kitchen to the lush gardens and the quiet grounds — we wish we could have stayed much longer! Villa Orsalini is such a treasure!

Lovely peaceful retreat

Villa Orsolini is a beautiful and authentic Tuscan Villa. many of the original features remain. Set in the village of Meati, just 5k from the centre of Lucca. Meati feels much more remote than it actually is, although if you plan to explore a car is essential. The property owner, Luciano was very helpful and charming. The views over the surrounding countryside are beautiful and the perfect way to relax with a glass (or two) of the local wine in the evening. The local Osteria Meati is well worth a visit.

Delightful Home Close to Lucca

Only a short car ride from Lucca, this home is comfortable, well-appointed and beautiful. Luciano is one of the best hosts we’ve met in 20 years of renting holiday homes. He escorted us to the property, explained how everything worked and was quick to answer any questions we had. He even made a special trip to us to make an adjustment to the Wi-Fi. He checked in with us on WhatsApp periodically to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and that everything was ok. We really appreciated that. He has put together pages of notes on the property and the surrounding areas. Good restaurant recommendations, too. One helpful app that he describes is EasyPark. It was a lifesaver for the many trips we made inside the walls of Lucca. Once your car is entered into the system the software does the rest and you don’t need to come up with cash to pay for parking. He also has good information on his website. We prepared several nice meals and ate outside at the table under the trees. The kitchen had everything we needed. The neighborhood is quiet and we took several walks to an interesting church close by. We both have arthritic knees so we used the front stairs rather than the spiral staircase from the living room, which is spacious and comfortable. We would gladly return to this property as it was perfect for us and Luciano was such a gracious and helpful host.

Traumhafter Urlaub

Wir waren 1 Woche vor Ort und sind absolut perfekt versorgt worden ! Das Haus ist einfach super , sehr schön vom Stil und super eingerichtet . Ein klasse Grundstück und eine sehr schöne Lage. Man ist wirklich innerhalb von 10 min. mitten in der Innenstadt von Lucca. Der Besitzer Luciano ist klasse ! Er hat sich super um uns gekümmert und hatte zu jeder Zeit super Tips für Unternehmungen. Wir können das komplette Paket absolut empfehlen. Die Region hat unzählige tolle Möglichkeiten, weinprobe, Parks, alte Städte usw. Wer einfach nur runterkommen will ist genauso gut aufgehoben. Danke nochmal an Luciano!!!
