Hello! Thanks for taking a look at my properties! I'm an avid traveler, and a self-employed entrepreneur. My wife and I call the Big Island of Hawaii home for half the year, and the other time we travel between Montana, or wherever our heart desires. We enjoy spending time with our family and friends, especially when sharing a beautiful Hawaiian sunset! Better than a resort!
This place was very clean, organised, spacious, quiet and was fully stocked with plenty of kitchenware etc.
It’s extremely close to the resorts and amenities at Waikaloa village, and the onsite pool was private, warm and beautiful...no need for a resort!
Dennis was very attentive to our initial issues with getting in and was really pleasant to converse with.
Great for families or couples.
We would definitely stay here again.
The unit is large and spacious. It could use a little TLC and a deep clean. Kitchen could also use some common items. No scissors, colander/strainer, coffee grinder was small and not that reliable. Kitchenware is dated. The lanai is very spacious, would have been nice if the tile flooring of the lanai had been washed prior to our arrival. The light over the shower in the master bath did not work and there several burned out light bulbs when we arrived. All issues I mentioned are easily fixed. Short walk to beach which is nice.
We do appreciate reviews from our guests, this is the best way for us to make sure we do better as we strive for 5 star reviews and if you check our reviews on all of our properties most all are 4 or 5 star reviews and mostly 5 star. we strive to have our cleaners do a great job every time and if they miss the mark we call them and be sure the issue is taken care of properly and they do it with a smile, again this is far and few between. If a guest were to call us while they are staying and have a concern we would address it right away, not after the guest leaves. when this guest addressed the issues in their review after they had stayed, my wife and I went over to see what had been missed. Our cleaners had been there of course before the review was left. we wanted to see for ourselves before the cleaners were aware of the report we had received on vrbo.
We are happy to say that the home was not tired and was clean. If the guest observed a tired or not clean condo we would have sent the cleaners back to take care of their concerns that day.
The guest mentioned the lack of scissors, it was in a drawer, guest said a colander was missing we could not find it either even though our inventory showed one, that has been replaced. There is a coffee grinder there and it does work fine, may not be a commercial grade but does work fine.
We did find one dinner plate chipped that was put in service less than one year ago, my wife replaced it last week after our inspection and did replace some other items not out of necessity but just did it to be sure we are updated. the only light bulb we did find not working was in the shower area and it was replaced with a long lasting bulb There are two wall switches that govern the lamps, if the switch on the wall is not turned on the lamps blubs will not turn on. (we only found one bad bulb). If a bulb does burn out and guest is not able to change a bulb we are more than happy to do that within a very short time.
Our cleaners do clean the Lani areas after each guest, we are often booked back to back but we do expect a thorough cleaning after each guest leaves and when we make our inspections randomly, we do expect the cleanings to be 5 star. This condo has been extensively remodeled within the last 3 to 4 years and is received very well by our guests. Sorry that the guest was upset that we could not give them a late 9PM check out but only to noon.
We do thank our many repeat guests.

Great place, great location
We stayed at the Vista and it was a wonderful amount of space four our family of four. The lanai is absolutely huge and had lovely views of the golf course. It was well stocked and the owners were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Very attentive and quick to respond to any questions we had. My son even forgot his football there and the owner hand delivered it to the next place that we were staying. Mahalo!
We were a party of 5 and all enjoyed our stay; location is great, quiet, the huge lanai is awesome, the unit is well furnished, pantry had lots of useful spices/items that came in handy. Would definitely rent again!
The owner and I are working through an issue about a missing set of keys, however, everything else was outstanding. This is a very nice place and we plan to return.
Located across the street from the world-famous Hilton Waikoloa and just south of the Mauni Lani Resort and Fairmont Orchid Resort; the Vista Waikoloa is a GEM in the Waikoloa Village! The condo itself is spacious and well-appointed with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It offers spectacular views of the golf course and mountains, with a spacious lanai to sip your morning coffee and watch the sun rise over Mauna Kea. It is tucked into a quiet and private location in the complex.
