About this property

Northstar Cabin. Beaver Pond. 1 mile to slopes. Rec cen/pool/hot tub at HOA.

Welcoming and comfortable, this 4 bedroom, 2 bath, plus loft cabin in the coveted Beaver Pond area of Northstar (close to the village, slopes, rec center) hosts plenty of room for two families or a group of friends. We have a large flat lot for the kids to play outside. Beautiful back deck to relax, BBQ, and listen to the babbling brook running through the back yard while gazing at the stars. You will be minutes to the slopes and rec center and the shuttle will pick you up and drop you off at our flat driveway (we are one of the closest neighborhoods, a very short ride compared to homes off of Basque or Skidder Trail).

Proving AI is not perfect, VRBO describes us as lake front. We are not, we are approx. 1 mile from the slopes. Also, the hot tub we had at our cabin was removed in 2020. The rec center has amazing hot tubs for you to enjoy!

Enjoy the Northstar Property Owners Association rec center pools/hot tubs/ tennis courts, pickle ball courts, gym, snack shack, craft shack, and game center for $10 per person per day.

New, large, super comfy sectional downstairs (best couch we've ever owned), King sized primary bed with new mattress, twin mattresses downstairs and upstairs are new. Contactless check in/check out. Keypad entry. Reliable high speed internet, approx. 175 Mbps. YouTube TV & 3 HD TVs with on demand viewing.

The host (Mike) was awesome. He let us get there early and park to use the free shuttle to the slopes. It was super convenient! They didn't have the home booked for the next day so they let us check out extra late which was also convenient after 3 long days on the slopes. Would highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful place for groups and families!

It is a great house for groups or families, with many comfortable beds, a hot tub, and all the amenities for a comfortable stay! It is also very convenient with the shuttle that picks you up from the driveway and drops you to the village!

Beautiful home in the great North Star location!

Great Place to Stay for the Family Ski Trip!

We enjoyed our stay and found it to be a relaxing getaway. One cool thing to put the mind at ease is the mountain spring/creek just past the patio-deck. Communication with the owners was very prompt and easy. Perfect place for up two families or a couples ski trip getaway.

Winter wonderland

My family and I (11 people) had a lovely reunion at this property located within 1 mile from Northstar resort. The house was conveniently located next to the resort and the backyard was very spacious for the kids to hike and explore. We had a terrific stay.

Tahoe Blizzard!

We had a warm, safe, and fun stay at Kim's property. Our trip lined up with the blizzard, so we spent much of our time inside and had plenty of room for our two small families. We greatly enjoyed the cozy couch and warm blankets on the cold days!

Great Family Ski Stay!

We stayed here with two other families with small children. There was plenty of space for all of us. We cooked each night and really enjoyed the hot tub and fire place. Having the Northstar shuttle is key! We would definitely stay here again.

We are delighted to share our cabin with you and your friends/family. Northstar is a special place for us, we have been vacationing here for decades. We love the variety of outdoor activities Tahoe/Truckee/Northstar offer and we hope you will enjoy them as well. We enjoy skiing, hiking, mountain bike riding, "trucking down the Truckee", and boating/wakeboarding in the summer. We also love cooking great food and finding fun places to eat. Tahoe is the perfect place to enjoy as a family and/or with friends.


Why they chose this property

We searched and searched for a cabin that had a flat driveway, backed to a beautiful view/open space, and had 4 bedrooms plus a loft for the kids to have a play area! Beaver Pond checked all the boxes. We love this neighborhood, you will find the neighbors friendly. The location is ideal, a short walk or 3 minute shuttle ride from the village. There is a calming year long babbling brook out the back door! Relax outside with a beverage and enjoy the sound of the water and the beautiful stars at night.

Northstar is the best place to be for challenging skiing for all levels (without the wind)! From our cabin, you can simply use the "Northstar Village Transit" app or call the bus to pick you up and take you to the slopes/village.
