Photos don't tell the whole truth

While the photos do showcase what is a stunning building that is in a very good location for getting around the city, they don't tell the whole truth. I'm not sure if it's now showing it's age or recent upgrades just didn't have time to be completed between stays but there are few things to be aware of.I've not had many worse night's sleeps than at this apartment. While the sitting room looks out to the garden and a very quiet street, the two bedrooms both look out onto a main high street that is very, very busy until the early hours in the morning. The glazing is single panel, it may be a conservation area so this can't be altered but in the master bedroom there was an A/C unit that requires one of the windows to be open to function (the plastic had no sound-proofing qualities at all). We had to have the noisy AC unit turned on to drown out the traffic noise...I'd advise using the sofa beds in the living room for sleeping arrangements.It is a great location for getting around the sights
