Idyllic country house, own pool, sea view near Torrox and Nerja, in Andalusia

The house has several terraces with breathtaking views of the sea and
mountain scenery. The back of the house has its own olive and almond tree cultivation. The front has
neighbor Pepe large orchards.

The place offers nice walks and bike rides in the surroundings and many nice excursion destinations. In it
Genuine mountain village Torrox Pueblo has beautiful alleys and a welcoming square with many
restaurants and pubs. For those who want to swim there are many beaches to choose from.

A typical day can include a walk in the beautiful mountain setting in the morning, a cooling dip in the
the pool, cozy lunch in Torrox, afternoon bath at one of the nice beaches in Nerja and
barbecue dinner with sunset on the roof terrace.

The house which is about 95 sqm has:

We have just stayed 12 nights at this lovely casa/villa, totally private very quiet and only one mile from the main road which leads into Torrox village, there are two roads which you can take to get to the villa from the main road, I found the second road was the best one as was a double road most of the way, pool was bigger than it looked in pictures gets plenty of sun, and has recently had the terrace extended which is not shown on photos, interior is as it looks on photos which is quite adequate, all nice and clean, bigger inside than we had imagined , we ate outside every day , weather was perfect lovely views from all the terraces sea and Mountain View’s, air con in hall cools the bedrooms which is all you need, we would definitely book casa Santilla again as we had a lovely stay here , perfectly situated minutes away from Torrox village, and a short drive to Torrox costa and Nerja ,communication was excellent with Nada and Henrik, we met Nada on our last day who is a lovely woman and loves their villa as we did too,we look forward to our next stay,x

Just what we wanted!

This was perfect for us as it was private and very quiet. Which was what we really wanted. It has amazing views. Thank goodness there is wifi as our phone reception was awful. Needs a sturdy car and confident driver as location is away from any shops and the roads to get there are not great but once your there it is amazing.

Thank you so much to Henrik and mum for letting us stay in this beautiful little villa ❤️ I absolutely loved it.... Adopt me please 😁 Everything was there that was needed. Communication was great, not that we needed anything. Key collection easy and she was very friendly and sweet... The views are amazing, complete privacy and peace and quiet... Pool fabulous and bigger than expected. We had an amazing time and will come back lots. You will need a car but it is worth it. Thank you again Henrik ☺️

Wir waren 18 Tage in der Finca und es war einfach wunderbar. Sowohl die Kommunikation als auch die Betreuung vor Ort sehr zu empfehlen. Allerdings ist es definitiv nichts für Teenager. Zur Entspannung und Entschleunigung kommen wir gerne wieder. Torrox war schnell zu erreichen - Nerja ist zum Essen gehen besser geeignet. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten auch sehr gut. Wir waren am liebsten bei Mercadona.Zudem haben wir einige Touren in die Berge zb Competa, Frigliana gemacht und uns die Höhlen von Nerja angesehen.Die Bilder der Finca teile ich nicht nochmal, weil diese in der Beschreibung vollzutreffend sind.Granada konnten wir aufgrund des Erdbebens nicht und Malaga war uns einfach zu voll, wir haben lieber kürzere Touren ins Hinterland unternommen.Ein Dank an die tollen Gastgeber!!!

Grossartige Erfahrung in der wunderschönen Casa Santilla! Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt mit unser kleinen Familie sehr genossen! Der Blick auf das Meer in den Bergen von Torrox war unbeschreiblich! Die malerische Landschaft und die Ruhe in den Bergen haben uns den Alltagstress vergessen lassen. Trotz der Abgeschiedenheit ist man sehr schnell ca. 15 Minuten an verschiedenen Stränden und im Zentrum, um Besorgungen machen zu können. Unsere Kinder haben den Pool sehr genossen und die Kommunikation mit Henrik war sehr angenehm. Insgesamt eine sehr bereichernde Erfahrung, die wir sehr gerne wiederholen würden. Vielen Dank für den bezaubernden Aufenthalt!

Nous étions quatre personnes. La maison est fidèle au photos que nous avions vue lors de la réservations. Celle-ci est très bien situé dans la montagne avec une magnifique vue. Attention à prendre le chemin le plus en haut, l'autre est dangereux (très raide), à moins d'avoir un 4x4. Pour ce qui est de la maison, celle-ci est propre mais vieillissante. La cuisine est illuminer d'un néon un peu capricieux, la peinture de la piscine s'écaille, l'arrière de la maison n'est pas très présentable. Attention aussi a surveiller le barbecue, prêt de la végétation sèche pour ne pas déclencher de feu. Ceci dit les propriétaire de la maison sont très gentil, ils répondent et agissent rapidement. Lorsque l'un des voisin avait couper l'eau de la maison, dès le lendemain matin le plombier était arriver. Quand la piscine est devenue verte idem. Cela dit nous avons tout de même passé d'excellente vacances et nous recommandons cette maison.

Øv for en oplevelse. Stået tom i længere tid uden oprydning. Poolen var ulækker, med slam på bunden. Store spindelvæv under møblerne, Internet virkede ikke, ingen vand i vandhaner på badeværelset. Vi opsagde lejeaftalen med Henrik, da der ikke var udsigt til at det ville blive ordnet i vores 15 dages ferie. Det var en dyr overnatning, da i kom til at betale Vrbo sit gebyr, som formidler af feriestedet 1 overnatning til Henrik. Med venlig hilsen Eva og Lars

Einfach super....

Wundervolles Häuschen in toller Lage. Der einzige und wirkliche einzige Minuspunkt ist ein Schattenplatz im laufe des Tages, der mit einem größeren und funktionierenden Sonnenschirm behoben werden könnte. A wonderful house, really beautiful landscape, fantastic! The only "hunchback" if there can be any - no shadowed area around the house, which could be easily created with the help of a stable larger beach umbrella for example.

Belle vue

La villa est bien située malgré les complications pour y accéder (prévoir un suv) chemin tout terrain avec des pentes. Le ménage était vraiment pas top malheureusement, sinon la villa est correct mais manque d’électroménager comme micro onde et machine à laver et a modernisé. La piscine est très bien nettoyer 1 fois par semaine bien sécurisé pour les enfants c’est très bien. Malgré cela très bonne communication avec les propriétaires très gentil malgré que l’on ne se soit pas rencontré… tranquillité absolu ,cadre reposant, très calme..

Mooi huis met fijn zwembad

Het was even zoeken om bij Casa Santilla aan te komen. Je spreekt af met een contactpersoon bij een tankstation en rijdt samen over een onverharde weg naar het huis. Je kan dus beter een grotere auto huren, want er liggen veel losse stenen op de onverharde weg. Het huis zelf is fijn. Er is airco op de gang naast de slaapkamers. Op de slaapkamers zelf staat een ventilator. Er is een heerlijk groot terras met toegang tot het zwembad. Het zwembad is groot genoeg om even in af te koelen en voor de kinderen om in te spelen. Je hebt uitzicht over de zee, heel mooi. Tijdens ons verblijf was er een probleem met het zwembad waardoor we een paar dagen niet konden zwemmen. Het werd na een paar dagen opgelost waardoor we nog net voor ons vertrek toch nog even konden zwemmen.

Bien pero mejorable

La persona encargada de darnos las llaves y si hay alguna cosa para consultar,deja que desear mucho. Primero,porque no se comunicó con nosotros nada en español y tampoco hizo por hacerse entender en inglés. Además,la solicitamos ayuda y se limitó a contestar,vía WhatsApp,no entiendo. Cero implicación. El acceso a la casa,bastante mejorable,tanto el trayecto de entrada como en sí,el acceso a la casa. No se específica en el anuncio. La calidad precios no se corresponde. Me parece cara debido a que faltan detalles básicos como microondas,más aire acondicionado en zona del salón,extractor de humos o mayor ventilación en la cocina, no hay cobertura en la casa(no se menciona en ningún sitio del anuncio), televisión (no estaba operativa y la persona que estaba para ayudarnos,obviamente,no lo hizo), la sombrilla de la zona de la terraza estaba desmontada y no se prestaron a ayudarnos para montarla. Puntos buenos: piscina aceptable y terraza con buenas vistas.

Séjour très sympathique

Très belle petite maison, calme, dans les montagnes avec une vue exceptionnelle (les couchés de soleil sont magnifiques à regarder directement de la terrasse), il est important de venir avec une voiture de type berline compact, suv etc mais pas de mini citadines, de notre côté nous avions loué une Fiat Tipo et pour les chemins escarpés afin d'accéder à la maison c'était top. La piscine est très appréciable et sécurisée grâce à toutes les barrières qui font le tour de la piscine. Un petit rafraîchissement à l'intérieur et l'installation d'une machine à laver et la maison serait vraiment très bien pour une petite famille ou un couple pour des vacances de plusieurs semaines. Mais dans l'ensemble pas d'inquiétude. Néanmoins il faudra faire attention à votre nourriture ou la mettre sous tupperware car des fourmis s'y introduisent malgré les nombreux pièges, mais c'est le lieu et non la faute au propriétaire. Un remerciement à Denise et Ian qui ont su répondre à toutes nos questions et ont été là dès le moindre petit souci. Malgré la barrière de la langue nous avons communiqués grâce au traducteur et cela à facilité nos échanges. Dans l'ensemble nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances dans cette ravissante maison.

Vacaciones

La limpieza es pésima, tuvimos que limpiarlo todo al llegar para poder estar bien. La cocina llena de hormigas a todas horas. La piscina no tiene limpia fondos y tiene lleno el fondo de tierra. Y el acceso es malo, mucho camino sin asfaltar y roza el coche en algún momento.

Casa de campo recomendable

Hemos pasado una semana en la casa y hemos estado muy bien. La piscina y la terraza con la barbacoa hacen que disfrutes mucho de la estancia. Está a 15 minutos en coche de la playa por un camino algo complicado pero merece la pena por la paz y la tranquilidad que tienes. Como mejora recomendaría un microondas y una ducha en la zona de la piscina.

En liten pärla

Ett mycket trevligt hus med stor terass och utsikt över medelhavet. Huset har en fin liten pool i anslutning till terassen. Köket är enkelt men fungerar bra. Rekommenderas!

Cute house with fantastic views and a good location

A small but cute house with fantastic view over the sea and hills. The pool is a very nice place to relax from the sun and has a fence around it which is very good for small kids. Only 40 min drive from the airport, close to the beaches, restaurants and grocery shops. A great area which offers culture close by and big cities like Granada (incl Alhambra), Sevilla, Cordoba, Marbella and Sierra Nevada (with skiing only 1,5 hr away). I truly recommend this house!

Practical, comfortable, affordable living for family w/ small children

Three bedroom house with own swimming pool in quiet surroundings with great mediterranean views of sea and mountains. Near lovely traditonal white village, Torrox pueblo, beaches at Torrox costa. Many great places to visit within easy driving distance eg Nerja's Burriana beach, fine restaurants, shopping and events, Baviera golf course within 15 minutes, Sierra Nevada skiing area, Malaga airport one hour. Practical more than luxurious.

Idyllisch,aber nicht zu abseits gelegenes Haus,sehr gut ausgestattet!

Wunderbar ruhig gelegen, trotzdem waren mit dem Auto Strände,Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Ausflugsziele gut zu erreichen. Der Schotterweg ist etwas abenteuerlich und hätte gerne vorher erwähnt sein dürfen.. Das Haus ist gemütlich und toll ausgestattet, aber eine kleine Anleitung (z.B.WLAN /TV) haben wir vermisst.

Clean, but needs some maintenance on bathroom, and overall missex tender love and care for too long

Reasonably expensive, considering the location and small - bit greasy- pool, airconditioning in the hallway only. The house clearly needs some attention. Up to date guestbook and info would be nice. Environment near Huradera has beautiful secluded beaches.

agréable séjour

une vue magnifique, la piscine très appréciable en ce mois d'août. Très calme et près de la côte (10 minutes en voiture) pour retrouver l'animation et les restos au bord de mer. Maison idéal pour 4 et sans doute encore plus agréable au printemps car il fait très chaud sur les terrasses et il y a peu d'ombre. Des petits détails : la vaisselle pas tout à fait propre, le lave linge qui était cassé, des petites coupures d'électricité le soir si on allume trop de lampes en même temps. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour.

Quiet and cosy place above olive and mango trees

We finally decided on this house because of the fence around the pool, and it was the perfect decision. But not only because our very active one and a half year old daughter had no chance to escape... The beautiful house is situated in a very hidden place, quiet and idyllic, surrounded by olive and mango trees. We spent most of the time on the terrasse, relaxing, swimming, and enjoying the beautiful sunsets. Everything that is needed is offered in the house. It is definitely a place to go back!
