Port Eynon is situated on the Wales Coastal path and is well signposted from Rhossili and Oxwich. Oxwich's main site of historical interest is the castle which is thought to be the most historic castle on the Gower Peninsula. Oxwich Bay is one of the most popular beaches in Gower, which has an expanse of curving sand popular with tourists. Swansea is a short drive away and is a vibrant city centre with a choice of retail chain shops plus a great variety of local, individual shops too.
