MEETING AND WORKING SPACES



- The attic – 103 m²: Spacious, bright room on the second floor with panoramic views. Ideal for creative sessions and plenary presentations.

- The music room – 70 m²: A characterful space with high ceilings, usable as a reception area or creative studio.

- The dining room – 74 m²: Long table, open fireplace — suitable for shared meals or working sessions.

- The living room – 55 m²: Informal lounge with fireplace, suitable for smaller team conversations or quiet work.

- The wine cellar – 75 m²: Atmospheric basement space, ideal for shared dinners, closing sessions or an informal team moment.



At the castle, we have a dual and redundant connection (Starlink + 5G), installed in October 2025. The speed is high and stable in all bedrooms and communal spaces — suitable for video calls, hybrid sessions, live presentations and remote team members. Reliable connection also in the attic.



Beyond the indoor spaces, the estate offers a wide range of outdoor areas for team building and activities: a large pool terrace (1,242 m²) with panoramic views, several gardens (chapel garden, tower garden), a natural woodland area and walking paths on the private grounds — all exclusively available to your group.



THE CASTLE



At the heart of the estate stands Castell de Villavecchia, built in 1894 by architect Enric Sagnier i Villavecchia. The original wooden structures, the round tower and the private chapel have been preserved; the interior has been renovated for contemporary comfort. Ten of the twelve bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower. Most rooms also include a private sitting area.

THE FARMHOUSE



Forty metres from the castle, the farmhouse offers additional accommodation with 5–7 bedrooms, 10 to 14 beds and its own entrance and self-contained living spaces.

The pool and mirador terrace – 1,242 m²: 15 × 3 m pool with panoramic views over the Montseny massif. Suitable for outdoor dinners, receptions or informal gatherings. Guest toilets available in a restored dovecote nearby.



The chapel garden – 621 m²: A quiet garden next to the chapel, suitable for welcome drinks or group moments.



The tower garden – 627 m²: A sheltered, shaded spot beside the tower. Suitable for morning activities or informal conversations.



The woodland area – 879 m²: Natural woodland, suitable for team building activities, walks or reflective moments outside the formal programme.



The forest path – 389 m²: A narrow path through old woodland, suitable for a quiet walk, an informal conversation or a short break between sessions.

The historic architecture, the round tower, the private chapel, the wine cellar and the extensive grounds make Castell de Villavecchia an exceptional location for photography, film and content production. Every space has its own atmosphere and quality of light — from the high ceilings and timber structures of the music room to the panoramic attic and the woodland surroundings outside.

The entire estate — castle, farmhouse, gardens, pool and all outdoor areas — is exclusively at your disposal during your stay — sole use, with no other guests or owners on the premises. Multiple groups are never hosted simultaneously, and the owners do not reside on the estate.

ABOUT THE SURROUNDINGS



Castell de Villavecchia sits at the end of a private forest track in the Les Guilleries mountains, on its own hill with open views. The estate is close to both Barcelona and Girona and easily reached by car. There is no passing traffic and virtually no immediate neighbours.



The nearest village, Sant Hilari Sacalm, is 3.5 km away and has a supermarket, bakery, pharmacy and local restaurants.



The Les Guilleries region offers walking trails, reservoirs (Sau and Susqueda) and authentic villages including Rupit, Osor and Vic. The historic city of Girona is 35 km away.



GETTING THERE



- Girona–Costa Brava Airport: 30 minutes (35 km)

- Barcelona: 1 hour 15 minutes (approx. 100 km)

- Barcelona El Prat Airport: approx. 1 hour 30 minutes (110 km)

- Riudellots de la Selva train station: approx. 40 minutes by car

- Parking: 10–15 secured spaces behind the access gate

BOOKING CONDITIONS



All guests must complete online check-in before arrival, in accordance with Catalan regulations.



A tourist tax of approximately €1–2 per guest per night applies for the first 7 nights of the stay.



A refundable security deposit is required and will be returned after check-out, provided there is no damage or breach of the house rules.
