Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing accommodation experiences our family has encountered.This property was booked months in advance as part of a special family vacation to France. Upon arrival, the family encountered numerous cleanliness, maintenance, and condition issues that significantly impacted the stay.The concerns were serious enough that the family ultimately chose to leave the property and secure alternative accommodations rather than remain there.What makes this especially frustrating is that many of the concerns raised were later acknowledged by the host, including the need for repairs and improvements. This confirmed that the issues were legitimate and not simply a matter of differing expectations.The train line also runs directly behind the apartment, resulting in noise and activity that detracted from the overall experience and was not fully appreciated in the listing.We made every effort to address the situation professionally and through the appropriate channels, but we remain deeply disappointed with both the experience and the outcome.I do not leave negative reviews lightly. However, I believe future guests deserve an honest account of our experience before booking.

Upon receiving your concerns on the day of your arrival, our team responded immediately and offered to visit the property to provide additional cleaning and address any issues you had reported. Unfortunately, these offers were declined, which prevented us from assessing and resolving the concerns during your stay. Following your departure, the apartment was thoroughly inspected, and no maintenance issues were identified. We nevertheless take all guest feedback seriously and continuously work to maintain high standards throughout our properties. Regarding the train line, it is a common feature along much of the French Riviera coastline. The apartment's exceptional location, just 100 metres from the beach, is one of the reasons many guests choose to stay here and enjoy easy access to the sea and the surrounding attractions. While we regret that we were unable to meet your expectations, we remain proud of the positive experiences enjoyed by the vast majority of our guests and thank you for sharing your perspective.
