Welcome to a nice and pleasant cottage in a peaceful and scenic environment with a perfect starting point for those who want to experience animals and nature, paddle, hike, cycle, practice mountain climbing or pick berries and mushrooms. There are several smaller lakes in the area and a little further away are the miles-long Bullaresjöarna with their many nice swimming spots including Sundshult and opportunities to rent a canoe for paddle or fishing trips (fishing license required). For those who want to bring their own canoe, kayak or bicycle, this cottage is an excellent choice and for those who like nature experiences there is plenty of both untouched nature and rich wildlife, don't forget your camera! In the forests there are both wild animals and birds roaming and you might get the chance to see a glimpse of a moose. Via the cottage's small veranda with seating you reach the entrance and further into a hall that leads into the cottage's kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, kettle, living room with nice furniture and a warming wood-burning stove, 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a 120 cm single bed. From the hall a staircase leads up to the second floor, which consists of a newly renovated living room and a bedroom with two single beds. Outside the cottage there is summer furniture and a barbecue, perfect for a moment of conversation over a good piece of food and something delicious in a glass, while the sun slowly sets in the northwest. Take the opportunity to pitch a tent on the lawn and experience how the day turns into night and then wake up at dawn to the birds' morning concert, an absolutely fantastic environment for all of you who love nature and nature experiences! In the area there are hiking trails, including Bohusleden, as well as various excursion destinations such as Älgafallet, a magnificent waterfall with a height of 46 m, well worth a visit. The river above the falls forms the border between Sweden and Norway. Take a trip across the border to Norway and Halden for a visit to Fredriksten Fortress or why not to Strömstad, a city by the sea with a wide selection of activities during the summer, rich restaurant life, pleasant shopping in small shops that are located close to each other and if you feel like a salty, cooling dip in the summer heat, it is a short distance to the sea, cliffs and swimming, feel free to take one of the bathing boats out to one of the islands in the Strömstad archipelago. From Strömstad there is also a ferry out to the Kosteröarna, Sweden's westernmost islands with a permanent population.
