About this property
The Kensington Gatehouse - by Out of Office Lifestyle
Summary:
Fabulously eccentric, and colourful. Each room is as uniquely designed mixing various styles, colours and patterns across its interesting layout inspired by art, history and design. On the ground level, you'll find a kitchen, and then stairs lead up to a funky sitting room with desks ideal for remote workers, and area for a third bed closed off by a pull curtain and a bathroom and shower for guests. Down the stairs on the other side you'll find an impressive bedroom with 4 poster bed, and en suite bathroom. As for the location, you can't beat it. The shops and eateries on Kensington Hight street and the underground of Kensington Station are a short stroll away on foot.

The Neighborhood:
The shops and eateries on Kensington Hight street and the underground of Kensington Station are a short stroll away on foot. South Kensington is probably most famous for being home to some of London’s top museums (The Victoria & Albert Museum, Natural History Museum, and Science Museum) and so you don’t need to wander far to see some of the city’s greatest treasures. World-class Hyde Park is just a stone’s throw away and there are plenty of great bars and cafes on the delightful pedestrianised end of Exhibition Road,
Getting Around:
The shops and eateries on Kensington Hight street and the underground of Kensington Station are a short stroll away on foot.
Other Things to Note:
This property is quirky. There are stairs on either side of the first floor. One that goes down the the kitchen and main entrance and the other side that goes down the the main bedroom and bathroom. So climbing stairs are required. So you need to open a different door to drop your luggage directly in the bedroom to avoid the stairs.
The bed is high.
