The hosts met us at the apartment and showed us how everything worked. It was a fantastic stay for 3 nights in the heart of old Napoli town. Perfect for exploring the street art and immersing ourselves into the daily way of life with the locals. We dined at a famous restaurant that serves the fried pizza which is must do and also felt safe wandering the cobbled stone corridors late at night. If you don't like nightlife then stay away as the streets are noisy with scooters, sirens police and Ambos. Stay away from the street beggars in all major European city's nowadays as they are trouble. Talk with the locals and they will help in any way possible even though we had a language barrier it was no problem. We made it work with learning a few key phrases and google translate did the rest.Cons- the wifi in this area is notoriously unreliable as the apartment we were staying in was originally a palace and very thick walls. A dishwasher or washing machine would be beneficial in the apartment if you are staying in for a week, but we found plenty of self laundrettes in the area and made new friends. Pros- wonderful hosts. Always responsive.Lots of Murphy beds so this apartment can hold 6 with ease. The shower pressure was fantastic and the water hot and plentiful. The area is full of old catacombs to explore and the street art amazing. We loved our stay and if more time allowed would stay here over the more expensive Rome. Very easy via train to Sorrento for the day and Pompe
