About this property
The Oval House, by Veeve
Nestled between Oval and Nine Elms, Vauxhall and Vauxhall tube stations, and close to Nine Elms, this charming four-bedroom family home offers peaceful interiors, a spacious garden, and fantastic access to central London. Cricket fans will love being moments from The Oval. We also recommend you try the local pub, the Fentiman Arms for a delicious roast.
Step up to the raised ground floor where you’ll find a bright sitting room with two large sofas, coffee table, and ornamental fireplace. This space opens to a handy study area with desk and access to a tranquil roof terrace. A guest loo is located on this floor, along with one private room not available to guests.
Downstairs, the lower ground level features an informal sitting room with sofa and TV, flowing into a generous open-plan kitchen and dining space for eight. The kitchen is fully equipped for family meals and entertaining, with glass doors leading to a lovely garden complete with BBQ and sunken trampoline.
The first floor houses a single bedroom with wardrobe and a Jack and Jill bathroom (shower and loo), which also connects to the elegant master bedroom. This spacious room, decorated in soft pink tones, includes a king-size bed, chest of drawers, and a freestanding bathtub - perfect for unwinding.
On the top floor, a peaceful double bedroom overlooks the garden and benefits from an ensuite with shower and loo. There is also a family bathroom (shower over bath) and a bunk room ideal for children, with views onto the street below. A washing machine is located on this level for added convenience.
We Love
The family-friendly garden with sunken trampoline is a rare treat in central London, and the elegant freestanding tub in the master bedroom adds a touch of luxury to this thoughtfully designed home.
Home Truths:
No smoking, pets or parties. There is a self contained studio flat on the lower ground floor which has its own entrance and cannot access the main house. This is only occupied for part of the week. To rent this property, the minimum age requirement is 25 years old. Although we always endeavour for accuracy, there may be rare occasions where the listing photography and description do not provide an exact representation of the home’s amenities.
