Stay in a fully insulated yurt with a cosy wood burner and stargazing roof window, set in a tranquil rural haven with breathtaking views over the countryside and lake.. All on the Ground Floor:
Living/dining room: (No TV), Woodburner
Kitchen: Electric Cooker, Electric Hob, Fridge/Freezer
Bedroom: Super Kingsize (6ft) Bed
Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Electricity, bed linen and towels included. Garden with sitting-out area, garden furniture and firepit. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: There is an unfenced lake in the grounds.. Tucked away in the quiet hills of Melplash, Dorset, this beautifully crafted, fully insulated yurt offers a peaceful escape into nature.
Inside, you’ll find a stunning superking bed, warmed by a crackling wood burner, and a stargazing roof window that lets you drift off beneath a blanket of stars. A private bathroom with a hot shower sits within your own private yurt, and your kitchen, fully equipped for relaxed holiday cooking, is right on the deck, making al fresco dining as easy as it is scenic. The outdoor space is yours to enjoy, with garden furniture, a firepit for evenings under the sky, and panoramic views stretching across the countryside and down to the glistening lake below. The setting is pure rural bliss.
This hidden haven is home to two lakes where you can swim, paddle, or simply sit and let the peace settle in. The orchard invites you to wander among fruit trees and birdsong, with footpaths leading you through meadows and fields that seem untouched by time.
