3 bedroom/2 bath home in a quiet, friendly S.E. neighborhood. It has everything you will need for a relaxing stay including a large double lot great for outside activities. House is centrally located with easy access to all the amenities such as Publix grocery stores, restaurants, theaters, banks, barbershops and salons all the while with a quiet county setting. The home is equipped with a washer and dryer, stove, refrigerator, hair dryers in each bath, central air and heat, wireless internet, cable and phone for local calls, carport and an extra drive at back of the property great for boats and RVs.
The house is centrally located with ease to all major attractions and activities such as 20 minutes to the Ocala National Forest with great camping, horseback riding and zip lining. It is approx. 70 miles to Daytona and Ormond Beaches, 86 miles to St Augustine Beach. On the gulf side; about 40 miles to Crystal River and Kings Bay. (Great areas to watch the manatees and dolphins play). The house is 7 miles from the famous Silver Springs National Park with the world famous glass bottom boats and 7 miles to the water park as well. It is approx. 1-2 hrs from most major attractions including Disney World, Bush Gardens, Epcot, Universal Studios and the Kennedy Space Center.
The Ocala are has many lakes, rivers and State Parks to enjoy. There is plenty of great fishing, camping and hiking in the area. There are over 500 Thoroughbred horse farms; many open for tours and horse back riding. Ocala is known as the Horse Capital of the World.
So if you want to visit the National Parks, go to the Indy Car races, visit an amusement park, participate in the Equine shows or just hit the beaches....this home has all you need for a great stay.

Great stay and in a wonderful place. Outside the busy streets but close to everything. Got a delay in boarding our ship because of fog but Cheryl let us have a few more hours. Welcome to 1973. Very dated interior and furnishings but very clean. Everything worked well air-conditioning & heat. Things were quiet. Kitchen was fully stocked and ready to cook in. This was not a surprise based on the detailed photos in the listing. Someone else also had commented on the condition of the roads leading to the property, which are very rough and need resurfacing.

“Great Host, Great House!”

We had a wonderful stay at this home in Ocala, Florida while in town for a concert. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. Plenty of towels, a washer and dryer, and a generous supply of toiletries. Communication with the host was excellent throughout our stay. I even accidentally left something behind, and they went above and beyond by mailing it back to me. I truly appreciated that extra effort. Highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again!

Host was very helpful and accommodating. We arrived for our stay and Hurricane Milton joined us. Because of the storm we lost power for 16 hours (obviously through no fault of the owner). She, however, stayed in touch and made all the calls needed to inform power company that power was out. She was great to work with.

Chose this home based on proximity to our planned activities for the month. It was homey--master bed comfortable; furnace/ac worked well; tvs good. A bit dated--some of the kitchen utensils/pans and bathroom towels/washcloths are due to be replaced.

Sweet owner and perfect property!

This home was exactly what my girls and I needed when visiting my mother in Ocala! I don’t like traveling without my husband when I’m with my girls, but this house felt safe and was in a family friendly area. The girls loved all of the “olden days” touches like the pink and blue bathrooms and I loved that we all had our own bedrooms to get some space after a long car trip. Cheryl was incredibly welcoming and fast to respond. I’ve told some friends to stay here next time they come to Ocala and we hope to make this our house to stay in when we come next, too! It was exactly what we needed!
