**THE SECRET GARDEN**: charming house in El Boalo (Sierra of Madrid)

The accommodation is a fully furnished apartment, tastefully decorated to make your stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. It is located on our landscaped property but is completely independent, offering privacy and tranquility.

From the property, there are direct views of La Maliciosa and Los Porrones, located within the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park, a natural setting of great beauty and serenity.

The apartment, all on one level, features:

A full bathroom

One bedroom: with a double bed and two trundle beds.

The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare your meals: gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, frying pans, pots, toaster, blender, coffee maker, etc.

The living room has a Smart TV with an Android system that gives you access to thousands of films, TV shows, and online content. It does not have conventional TV channels, as it functions like a computer. It also has USB and HDMI ports, in case you want to connect your devices.

The apartment has central heating, ideal for the colder months. and stays cool in the summer.

The 700 m² lot features a landscaped area where you can relax at your leisure. We’ll respect your privacy as much as possible, though if you need recommendations on routes, excursions, or places of interest, I’ll be happy to help.

In the garden, there’s a 9.5-meter pool—perfect for cooling off in the summer—which you’ll share with us, since we, the hosts, live upstairs.

Activities and Surroundings
El Boalo and its surroundings offer plenty of options for nature lovers and sports enthusiasts:

Hiking, mountaineering, and rock climbing (La Pedriza is just a 5-minute drive away).

Skiing in winter and spring.

Biking trails (mountain biking).

Horseback riding (there are several equestrian centers nearby).

Birds of prey watching.

If you’re interested in cultural tourism, there’s also plenty to discover:

Manzanares el Real Castle is just a 3-minute drive away.

The Monastery of San Lorenzo del Escorial is 30 minutes away.

La Granja de San Ildefonso is 45 minutes away.

And in just 30 minutes, you can reach Plaza de Castilla (in Madrid).

In El Boalo and the surrounding area, you’ll find excellent restaurants, ranging from traditional cuisine to more modern options. If you’d like, I’d be happy to recommend a few.

Access and services:
About a 10-minute walk away is the stop for bus 724, which connects to Plaza de Castilla (Madrid), and very close by is also the stop for bus 672 heading towards Moncloa. However, to make the most of the area—especially for exploring hiking trails or shopping—it’s best to come by car.

In the immediate vicinity, there are large supermarkets as well as small local shops where you can buy everything you need for your stay.
