Cosy Cottage (OI31), Silverlake, Dorset
Silverlake is a luxury private estate nestled in an extensive nature reserve, near to the coast in West Dorset. Opportunity for adventure abounds with water sports, a private beach, cycling trails, woodland walks, tennis, table tennis and forest playgrounds available on site.
All our properties here at Silverlake, Dorset have strict rules to ensure a family friendly atmosphere. Our properties must strictly be used for holiday purposes only and not for working in and or using to commute to and from a place of work. Stag and Hen parties are strictly not allowed at any of our properties, and we reserve the right to cancel your booking if you break the estate rules.
Cosy Cottage is situated next to the Overton Island village communal games area, where families can get together outside for a friendly game of table tennis or boules. The property has an enclosed garden; ideal for families with young children and for those who wish to bring a pet. Access from this property to the lakes is made easy with the Overton Island communal jetty just a stones throw from the house.
Access to the activity equipment is included with this property, offering plenty to do while staying at Silverlake, Dorset. Inclusive equipment hire includes bikes and water equipment such as paddleboards, kayaks and canoes, subject to availability.
Also on site is a well-equipped gym, a luxury spa offering a variety of holistic and beauty treatments and a takeaway pizza shack offering pizza, open during peak season.
Overton Island is a newly completed village at Silverlake. Whilst this property is fully completed, there are still properties on the island and wider Estate that are undergoing various elements of construction. You may see and hear construction between 0730 and 1800, Monday to Friday and 0800 to 1300, Saturday. Please do abide by any signage relating to construction areas. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch with a member of the Habitat Escapes Team.

An open-plan living/dining area with a contemporary and elegant kitchen will see your family enjoying home-cooked evening meals, or takeaways from the Hurricane Terrace. The downstairs living area is flooded with natural light from the sliding doors that lead onto a decking area, spanning the width of the property. There is a dining table for 6 guests and a cosy living area with sofa and snuggle seat. The patio doors lead through to the outside space which offers views across the island and outdoor seating. Completing the accommodation on the ground floor is a cloakroom.
Upstairs offers plenty of space, with 3 double bedrooms, 1 with ensuite and a large family bathroom. The master and 1 of the double bedrooms benefit from access to the balcony where the family can enjoy their morning coffee and juice while taking in the sweeping views of the Estate.
