About this property

LAKE-FRONT! Your own PRIVATE BEACH & DOCK on PRIVATE Peninsula

Finally. The vacation you’ve been searching for. Experience the island-feel of your very own peninsula on lake Ossipee complete with gradual sandy beach on both sides, a dock for your boat, fire pit and your very own lighthouse.

Framed by the ten peaks of the Ossipee Mountain Range, Mt. Chocura and Mt. Washington, Ossipee Lake serves up incredible views from the house year round and as you explore the vast and winding waters of her beauty . The lake awaits you
Expect a selection of kayaks, paddleboards, inflatables and lawn games for your enjoyment, plenty of lounge chairs and outdoor seating. And let’s not forget that lake-side hammock. Bring your own boat or rent one at a local marina.

The main living area has a full bathroom, complete desk/workspace, a kitchen that makes cooking fun, with all imaginable amenities. You’ll find plenty of storage for all your supplies, upscale appliances, and natural flow for entertaining. Most guests bring enough groceries for their stay. The store isn’t far but during summer months, cars usually stay put for the duration. A leisurely stroll to the convenience store overrules drives to the big grocery.

There’s formal dining for 6 and casual counter space for 3 indoors. Irresistible lake views and fresh breezes through the two sets of sliders entice you to dine outside on the deck where gathering for meals, happy hour, or just morning coffee happens more often than not.

There’s one bedroom on the main level with a set of bunk beds, both full-size. Open the windows for morning sun and night breezes.

A sitting area separate from the den provides space for everyone to spread out on rainy days. The den feels more like a cozy screen porch, up close and personal with the lake. The leather sectional is beyond comfortable. Movie night here just might permanently spoil you. Don’t miss the little library tucked behind the stairs, in case you left your book behind.

The outdoor living room over looks the lake and will quickly be your go-to perch. A summer read in the hush of nature. Appetizers with friends and reggae music. All in your bathing suit while your beach towels dry on the railing.

Upstairs the master bedroom feels more like the penthouse stateroom on a luxury ocean liner. The air conditioning of choice is usually the walls of open windows that include sounds of the lake but on those hot summer nights, the central air is a welcomed relief.

Just outside your bedroom door, the lake-side luxury continues, never having to take your eyes off the lake, even while bathing. Sit back and relax in the jetted tub overlooking the lake. During winter, after a full day of skiing or snowmobiling, you will be drawn here for the hot soak that you thought about at least ten times throughout the day.

Across the hall are more accommodations, a queen bed and another set of bunkbeds, full and twin size. The reading chair is just another, of the many, cozy napping nooks. Full bathroom number three, with washer and dryer, connects this accommodation to the game room or overflow guest area. Family game nights; games included, kid’s only movie night, an escape for teens or a separate living space for extended family, this space has you covered.

We ask that you leave your pets at home but we do have room for your boat on our dock. Fuel and boat rentals can be found at three marinas on our lake.

The area has a lot to offer! Outdoor recreation year round attracts people to the Ossipee mountains and the lakes region of New Hampshire for golf, biking, hiking, boating, fishing, tubing, atv-ing, paddling, skiing, snowmobiling, flying, leaf-peeping, covered bridge seeking, snowshoeing, ice fishing, skating, and more. Outlet shopping, dining out and many attractions are only a short drive away.

Sandy Point is the perfect home base but you truly might not want to leave once you check in.

Sandy Point Vacation
Everything was perfect -- great kitchen, two nice beaches, the house had everything we could want . Have stayed in the Lakes Region for the past 19 years --- Mostly on Winnipesaukee -- Ossipee was fantastic and the Bays at Sandy Point was even better. Everyone said it was the best place we have ever stayed -- we will be back Thanks

Exceptional all around! And I mean "all around"!
So impressive! We’ve rented many vacation homes over 30+ years and this by far was the best! The location, the property, the sprawling layout, the amenities...FAR exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival, you begin to realize you’re in for an exceptional experience. The way the house is situated on its very own peninsula with its very own lighthouse is the first hint. Then when you step inside, you do a double take, wondering if you booked a cruise instead (especially in the dreamy master bedroom), except this stateroom has water on 3 sides! My favorite spot? I had many! The corner of the sectional sofa on the huge upstairs deck for reading or stargazing, the bench on the point (next to the lighthouse) at sunset to the sound of the loons (which actually happened), floating on one of the many floats provided out in front of the lighthouse at sunset. Did I mention the sunset? We didn’t miss a single one – they were breathtaking. And let’s not forget a nice fire on the point to the sound of the small waves hitting the rocks. There was no need to leave the house because the amenities addressed every need! We played numerous games of croquet on the rolling lawn on the point which feels like a movie set, cornhole by the water to music in the “tiki hut”, endless hours of floating on the protected cove, paddle boarding and kayaking all provided, and smores at the firepit. Diana’s Baths has been on my bucket list for years so that was our single trip out and worth it. Tip: go on a weekday and go early. There’s very limited parking. It was August so the flow was low but perfect for exploring all the falls. Spring might be very different. The house itself had everything we needed from the Weber grill in the “tiki bar” to the very equipped kitchen with chef’s stove, two coffee makers, panini maker, 2 refrigerators, tons of dining seating in and out. There were plenty of books and games, the perfect “TV room” complete with the coziest leather sectional, water on 3 sides, the perfect spot for a movie night with all the windows open (screened) and the beautiful lake breezes and lovely throws to go with those breezes – better than home! There were so many nooks and spaces, although our group was small, I can see a larger group enjoying the luxury of the big square footage and many places to “get away” or join in the fun. The gradual sandy beaches on both sides were easy entry into the lake. The place was immaculate, bedding was divine, laundry room was a bonus.

Sunrise to sunset!
We had a fantastic family vacation with friends at this home. The owner was very responsive and easy to work with. The house was clean and very comfortable. We had so much fun swimming, kyaking and paddle boarding every day! At night we would watch the sunset from one side of the property, and in the morning you could see the sunrise from the other. Thank you for a great vacation!!!

The entire family was happy here!
The property was perfectly located to be part of the boating action, but had safe areas to swim and float in the water. House was clean, comfortable, and large enough to eat together inside and out, while spreading out during sleeping/relaxing time. We were up for exploring the area, but the weather was too perfect to leave. Will definitely return.

My family loves to be outdoors! Whether it is skiing in the winter, hiking in the spring or fall - or playing in the water and taking the kids water skiing or tubing on Ossipee's main lake. We chose the Broad Bay location over the main lake because of it's privacy and neighborhood feel among the quiet dirt road loops surrounding our property. I could not be happier with meeting all our fabulous neighbors. I look forward to sharing our special spot with you and your family/friends. We love to entertain and have designed our home to allow you to do the same!

Why they chose this property

I purchased this home in December of 2017. After looking for THE perfect place, renting homes on Ossipee over the years, I finally found it; It was worth the wait.

What makes this property unique

New dock, fire pit, kayks and paddleboards, furniture purchased in 2017-2018. Long private driveway, excellent area for long walks and quiet dirt roads for kids to ride bikes. Close to Hannafords for groceries and plenty of family friendly restaurants within 10-15 minutes either north or south on route 16. North Conway's Story Land, Santa's Village only 35 minutes away. Many outdoor activities like ropes course, mountain bike trails, hiking, kayaking, white water rafting and lots more!
