About this property

New build villa with views a Private pool and BBQ

Whale villa is a fresh to market, new build in the relaxed village of Kefalas found just 40-minutes from Chania airport. This home provides everything you need; 2 ensuite bedrooms, private pool, sea views, BBQ. From coffee machine to cocktail shaker, vanity mirror to vinyl records and everything in between. Local tavernas and convenience stores are in easy walking distance, while beaches and lively resort towns are an easy driving distance away.

The space
Enter the property via the private parking area. The front doors open to the bright and open plan entrance, kitchen & lounge area with distant sea views. The kitchen is fully equipped and centred around an island style breakfast bar. Double doors from the kitchen lead to a BBQ patio and undercover outside dining area.
The lounge has another set of double doors leading to the outside dining area and directly to the “swim up to lounge” pool, here you find a comfortable double sofa bed with a privacy screen for any downstairs guests. There is also a WC.

Upstairs has 2 double rooms (3 beds) each with an en-suite shower room, both rooms lead via doors to a patio, the perfect spot to take in the sea views.

Crete is all about outdoor living, with this in mind sun loungers, parasols, BBQ and outdoor dining space is provided.

Almyrida & Georgioupoli white sand beaches are 15/20 minutes drive away where you find excellent cocktail bars, restaurants and shopping possibilities to enjoy. The Freshwater Lake of Kournas is great for turtle spotting from your pedal boat. For those looking for a scenic mountain hike, Samaria Gorge is a must at one and a half hours away.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Kefalas at Whale Villa! The village had everything we could possibly need, with shops and cosy tavernas just a short stroll away. Sue gave us such a warm welcome on arrival, and the house itself was a delight — beautifully equipped, fresh, clean and full of thoughtful touches. It’s exactly like the photos on Vrbo… especially that stunning pool and the gorgeous outdoor space!We’re already hoping to stay even longer on our next trip to Crete. And with the sandy beaches of Almyrida just a short, scenic drive away — plus fantastic tavernas, bakeries, and coffee shops right on the shore — a perfect spot.
