Not only is the beach just a 15 minute walk from your doorstep; with a swimming pool free of charge, restaurant and bar all within throwing distance. Whitsandbay is worth the walk down the cliff, with its long stretch of golden sands and rock pools. When the tide is out, you can walk for miles! The beach has Lifeguards during the summer months and dogs are allowed all year round. There are two cafes with seating at the top of the cliff and on the beach, serving hot food and drinks from morning into the afternoon. It is important to note that it can be difficult for young children and the elderly to access our closest beach, but there are lots of easily accessible beaches in the local area.
